Coreene Callahan | Soundtrack for FURY OF OBSESSION

I never used to listen to music while I wrote. I’ve always liked silence, the quiet space between the pauses that helps me find the words. For some reason, that’s no longer the case. I guess it’s safe to say times have changed…in a big way. With each book I write now, I can’t seem to help myself. I always put together a soundtrack. It arrives organically over the course of writing the book. No plans. No real intention. But by the end, I find myself listening to the same string of songs over and over, again and again, until the final chapter is written and THE END appears on the page. It becomes like white noise, a way to shut out the world while I immerse myself in my characters and the place they in habit. So today, in celebration of my newest release, FURY OF OBSESSION (Dragonfury Series, book 5), I thought I’d share my latest soundtrack—what I’ve been listen to the last couple of months—with you. story. I think it suits them. Venom, in particular. Then again, it’s hard to
tell. Evelyn is, after all, as kick-butt a heroine as they come.
