Re: Promise to Keep (3:20pm October 25, 2015):

Reading the books about the Amish remind me of my grandmother. She was born in 1890. When at her house you had to use the outhouse or at night there was the chamber pot. She had electricity but she still had to cook & heat with a iron stove. One in the kitchen & one in the livingroom. I remember how excited she was when she got a gas stove and a refrigerator (she still used an ice box). When I was grown she finally got running water and an indoor bathroom. Reading Amish brings back so many memories of her stories of how she grew up, the first car that she saw, and the love that abounded there. She raised me on Bible stories & not fairy tales. The simple life of the Amish is so much like she lived. She had a deep abiding faith that I see in the Amish that I've met.

Re: Never Broken (2:37pm September 8, 2015):

Patricia means Noble. lol certainly not me. Your book sounds delightful. Would love to read it & will leave reviews.

Re: Avelynn (2:29pm September 8, 2015):

My favorite fictional couple would be Marcellus and Diana from "The Robe" by Lloyd C. Douglas. I've read the book well over a dozen times.

Re: The Ticket (3:37pm August 10, 2015):

I saw where I had won on List of Winners. Do you need any info from me? Looking forward to reading your book. Always enjoy reading a new author for me.

Re: Midnight on the Mississippi (12:54pm August 4, 2015):

Would love to win this book. Your books are always terrific reads/ Always left 5 star reviews on your books. Have read most of them. I would love to live in the Smoky Mtns. near Gaitlandinburg, TN or near the beach in Pennsacola, Fl.

Re: SEAL Wolf Hunting (4:36pm July 4, 2015):

Opps, I forgot to say I love adventure, travel, I have a wonderful husband who makes me feel like a Queen and is very protective. My sons are too. Now that I'm retired I do most of my risks by books. However, I still will do things to keep my grandchildren from thinking I'm a Chicken.

Re: SEAL Wolf Hunting (4:34pm July 4, 2015):

I have 2 sons, 3 grandsons and my Dad was in the army in WWII, Korea & Viet Nam. He spent over 30 yrs in. My eldest son is strickly an Alpha Male. I love reading about shape shifters (werewolves, bears, etc.)and when you added in Seals - I was hooked. Will be glad to leave reviews for the book. I do reviews on books that I truly like and will never leave a bad review. Won't leave it if it can't be at least a 4.

Re: Murder Under the Desert Moon (3:02pm June 29, 2015):

I have no idea but I would love to see it set at Yellowstone Natl Park or Montana in the mountains.

Re: The Ticket (2:59pm June 29, 2015):

I've never read your books before - I guess because I haven't seen them. This book sounds wonderful and I love a book with suspense or mystery.

I found one of my mother's books SUMMER PLACE. I was a teen in the early 60's. I read it during a summer school break. I still have the book and still reread it. At the time it was very out of the norm - especially for teens. Then I saw the movie with Troy Donahue. I read the book again.

Re: Justified (9:25pm June 19, 2015):

Sounds like your memories are a lot like mine. I remember sitting on my grandmother's porch, or family & friends -smelling the rain in the air, watching dust devils go up the road, sitting under my grandmother's oak tree - it was over a 100 yrs when her parents bought the place in the late 1880's. Its still there and well over 200 yrs. old. I can still imagine my grandmother sitting on her front porch, shaded my the tree and using her toes to make the swing barely move. I wish she was still alive to share the memories.

Re: Desperate Measures (9:19pm June 19, 2015):

I forgot to add, I was raised on teas and herbal remedies by my Grandmother who was born in 1890 in England. She used different teas and one thing she gave me was honey, peppermint candy, lemon & whiskey - heated. Once she gave it to me I couldn't go outside until the next day. You could catch pneumonia if you did. I love English Breakfast Tea, green tea and chamomile tea. Earl Gray is just too week. I was raised on tea time with my grandmother - she lived next door.

Re: Desperate Measures (9:16pm June 19, 2015):

I discovered you as an author last year. Since then I've read most of your books. Not only do I love your books, so does my Dad and my husband. Mother loves it too (she will be 90 in July). I have left reviews of previous books on Christian Books, Deeper Shopping, Book Club Network, BAM & B&N. Also I leave reviews on Good Reads and several of sites.

Re: Collared For Murder (9:12pm June 19, 2015):

I've never read your books but I love books with animals. Also, I enter contests to try out new authors (to me). Also if I enjoy the book enough to give it at least a 4 or 5 I leave reviews at various sites. (Good Reads, B&N, BAM, Walmart, Amazon, and any other sites that you would like.

Re: Perfected (4:02pm July 8, 2014):

I procrastinate too often. I never did when I worked but not that I'm retired I have suddenly developed this habit. I was told at work I was a work-alcoholic and super organized. They wouldn't recognize me now.

Re: Muffin But Murder (12:54pm June 30, 2014):

This books sounds like it will be so much fun to read. I love suspense/murder/mystery novels with a sense of humor. This sounds like one I would read in one sitting. I also leave reviews on books that I like, ie: Amazon, Good Reads, B&N, and if you have suggestions, will leave reviews where you request. I love entering contests to try out books by new authors (to me) and when they are good I have my favorite indy bookstore author the books by author's names so that I don't miss any new books coming out. Thanks for this opportunity.

Re: Saving Amelie (4:40pm June 15, 2014):

I loved "Saving Amelie" and I have left reviews at Amazon, B&N, Good Reads, Deeper Shopping, Christian Books and Book Club Network. I lived in Post-WWII Germany (mid 1950's) and I remember how things were then. The German people were treated as bad as others were during the war. This book shows the good and bad times that the people went through. You did a lot of research on this book and it brought back the streets of Brehaven, GE when my Dad was stationed there. Had a hard time putting this one down.

Re: Teacup Turbulence (6:35pm February 14, 2014):

Linda, I've confirmed win three times but you must not have it. Rec'd another confirmation requested. Pat Moore, 2316 Magna Carta PL, SW Huntsville, AL 35803

Re: Wishing On Buttercups (3:46pm January 24, 2014):

I'm looking forward to receiving my copy of WISHING ON BUTTERCUPS. BLOWING ON DANDELIONS was a great book. If you haven't read Miralee's books then I highly recommend BLOWING ON DANDELIONS. I read it and waiting for her new book to arrive in the mail. Thanks again Miralee.

Re: With a Vengeance (3:29pm July 6, 2013):

I won WITH A VENGENCE in May. Do you know how long it takes to receive it? I understand that it comes from the publisher - however, I haven't receive it and today is 6JUL2013. When I win a book I always stop what I'm reading, read the book and then leave reviews. If you have somewhere special you want it left then let me know. Thanks for this opportunity. [email protected] Acct is updated correctly.

Re: With a Vengeance (7:18pm June 9, 2013):

Thank you so much for the chance to win WITH A VENGENCE. I love a good murder mystery. I've never read your books, however, I'm looking forward to the one I just one. From the reviews I've seen on your book it will probably put you on my "favorite author's" list at my local bookstore. They have a list of my favorites and order the books by author's name when they see new ones coming out. Then I get a call to come pick it up. Thank you again for the book I won at FRESH PICK. Have a wonderful and blessed day. I will leave reviews on it as soon as I read it, ie: Amazon, B&N, Goodreads, etc. Thanks again

Re: With a Vengeance (11:49am May 3, 2013):

This book sounds great. Hope I win this one. Congrats to Marjorie Carmony on 50 yrs of marriage. My husband & I will bemarried 46 yrs in July. He's my best friend too.

Re: The Ravenous Dead (12:40pm December 31, 2012):

I'm thankful for family & friends. Especially thankful to God for allowing me to be out of a wheelchair, off the walker and able to walk in the house without cane. Its been over 3 yrs since my car wreck and after numerous surgeries I'm able to do more things. I crushed my foot & ankle in the wreck. All praise & thanks go to God.

Re: A Little Bit Wicked (10:22am December 30, 2012):

Thi year my big goal is to be able to walk again without the aide of a cane, walker or having to use a wheelchair. I was in a bad accident and was non-weight bearing on on foot for 3 yrs & multiple surgeries. One more to go and praying to be able to do many of the things I did priorhe accident. I set goal but I don't do resolutions. Wishing each of you a blesed and Happy New Year.

Re: Perfect Misfits (1:17pm December 23, 2012):

I don't read too many like this anymore but you have capured my attention. I love to enter book contest, givesme a chance to read someone I haven't known of before. Your new book sounds like fun, different and best of all, romance & suspense. Love romantic suspense.

Re: Against The Odds (3:54pm December 19, 2012):

We celebrate Christmas with the family on Christmas Eve. We have Christmas dinner at my parents Christmas afternoon. We all take different dishes so its not too much on any one person. By opening presents at our house on Christmas Eve the grandchildrn can spend Christmas morning with all their gifts from Santa and have time to play. My Dad always leads us in a prayer & reminds everyone that we are celebrating the birth of Jesus. Then we can open gifts. We have finger foods to snack on in the afternoon and evening.

Re: Counterfeit Cowboy (12:20pm December 11, 2012):

My perfect hero is my husband. Strong, mostly silent but great sense of humor. Loves animals & childrn, won't take anything off of anyone where his family is concerned. He can do jus about anyhing, he's smart, serious, has great sense of humor, (has to to put up with me or 45 1/2 yrs)and most of all he is a Christian. I've never known him to do anything that would hurt anyone but he will stand up for his values.

Re: Against His Will (2:37pm October 15, 2012):

Thank you for the chance to win. I can only imagine how hard it would be to write with a hero that you don't like (even if eventually you love him). Not like animals? I've come to the conclusion that if you don't like animals that you don't like humans very much either. Animals are usually more loving - they give 100%. Humans don't. Have a wonderful & blessed day. Loved the comments on your blog.

Re: Born To Be Wild (2:34pm October 15, 2012):

I've read a lot of your books and have loved all of them. This one sounds really great. My fear has always been "bridges". You should have seen me the first time I went over the Seven Mile Bridge in the Keys. I found out that you can't close your eyes, hold your breath and hide your fear from others that far. That was back in the late 60's before they widen the bridge. After several trips I overcame a lot of the fear but still a new bridge thats very high & narrow I cringe. My family loves to tease me about it. However, I'm not afraid of heights. Stood at the edge of the Grand Canyon and loved it. I've been in the Alps and loved looking over the clifts. Just hate bridges. My mother told me that when I was about 6 I saw a car go off a bridge (Pensacola Bay Bridge). Car was stuck when they raised the bridge for a ship. I understand I saw it happen - I don't remember anything but that it was hot, I was thirsty & we were stuck on that bridge for hours. In the early 50's we didn't have AC and the bridge was too narrow to turn around on.

Re: Enemies at the Altar (11:58am September 20, 2012):

Oops, I didn't read what I was suppose to say. Yes, if you hate someone it reflects on you & hurts you more than it ever could the person you hate. Like the Bible says, love your enemies. One pastor said to pray & ask God to bless you enemies. Its hard to hate someone that you want God t bless. Goes for a good books (fiction) too.

Re: Enemies at the Altar (11:55am September 20, 2012):

The bookcover is beautiful. The blurb sounds interesting & would love a chance to win this. I enter contests hoping to win books by new authors (to me). I'm addicted to reading & love trying out authors I haven't read. Thank you for this opportunity to check out your book. Evn if I don't win I'd like to try the book. I order books at an Indy bookstore by author's name & not by title. Have a blessed day.

Re: Three River Ranch (1:22pm September 17, 2012):

I love your blog & I needed that chuckle this blessed Monday morning. Had doctor's appt & NSD (No Sign Disease) from Renal Cancer. CANCER FREE for 2 1/2 years. Isn't our God fabulous. All praises go to His wonderful & prcious name.

Looking forward to reading our book. I love entering contest and winning books by authors I've never read. Gives me an opportunity to try new authors, post reviews for them, and if I really, really like the author - then their name goes to my FAVORITE AUTHOR LIST at my local indy bookstore - its actually a used book store but they order new books for their customers. So each month they havemy list of authors & if I hear of a good book then they will order it for me to try. Thank you for the opportunity to enter. Have a very blessed day to you & your bloggers

Re: Temptation In A Kilt (7:32pm September 8, 2012):

there's just something about a man in a Kilt. I don't read as much historical as I used to but I still love anything to do with mid-evil Scotland, England, & Ireland. Thank you for the opportunity to enter your contest. God bless and have a wonderful weekend

Re: Death on a Longship (4:42pm September 2, 2012):

Your book sounds like a fun read, suspense and I love when authors use animals & their natural tendencies to get into things only unique to that partiular dog, cat, etc. As you can tell, I love animals and suspense.

Re: Death Where The Bad Rocks Live (4:33pm September 2, 2012):

I love to read suspense, police/firemen/emt books. As long as the book isn't too graphic with gore and don't use God's name as a curse word. Suspense, Amish, Christian fiction are my favorite reads. Would love to win one of your books & try out a new author.

Re: Plain Fear: Forbidden (7:30pm August 31, 2012):

I've never read one of your books. I would love to win the contest, what better way to try out a new author (for me) and add them to my to-buy-list at the local indy bookstore. They order my books by a list of authors - I never can remember titles so I give them my list & they order the books as they are released for each author on the list.

Re: Hearse And Buggy (6:14pm August 17, 2012):

I love the LITTLE HOUSE books. I read all of them in the 3rd grade. I read somewhere, not sure if its true or not, that Emilie Loriing was Laura Ingles Wilder's daughter. Does anyone else know if this is true. Your book sound great. Have a great & blessed day.

Re: Hearts Of Darkness (10:30am August 9, 2012):

Kira, I love romantic suspense & hope to win this one. If not I promise to still try your books. Now that I'm retired I prefer to read than watch day time tv. Better than most tv night time too.

Re: The Last Victim (3:13pm August 5, 2012):

I've been reading your books for a long time & love them. Looking forward to THE LAST VICTIM. Have a blessed day.

Re: Under Fire (2:53pm August 1, 2012):

sounds like a terrific read

Re: Final Sail (2:52pm August 1, 2012):

Now this sounds like a fun read. I had a dorm mother that used a white glove to check our rooms with. Yuck. Sounds like this book should have had her to over see. I was 16 at the time & it was a summer camp that I worked for. Lots of kids.

Re: Home For The Summer (2:49pm August 1, 2012):

Mariah, I love your books and have read most of them. Anyone that hasn't tried your books then I highly recommend them. They are suspense, there's romance and always a great story. Keep the good books coming.

Re: Chase Me (2:47pm August 1, 2012):

Sounds like your taste in books follows along the line of mine since we were young. Looking forward to reading one of your books.

Re: Her Forbidden Hero (2:44pm August 1, 2012):

Your book sounds really interesting. My father was in the military over 30 yrs (WWII, Korea & Viet Nam). My husband had just gotten out of the navy when I met him. I worked in Military Pay for almost 20 yrs. Yes, I love to read about the military. Like Mary, I worked for the Department of Defense for over 20 yrs before retiring. Looking forward to reading your books.

Re: First Do No Evil (2:42pm August 1, 2012):

I enjoy a romantic love sence but not a detailed bed scene. Nothing makes me stop buying an author's books than several sex scenes that are anywhere from 8-18 pages long. I read for the story line and I can understand a sex scene to move the story along. I threw one author's book in the trash, half-way through the book and still no plot other than how many times to get in bed. That started on page 2 withing minutes of meeting each other. By the way, it was listed as MILD on the sex scenes. It should have been in Erotica. I love romantic suspense, Christian Fiction both Suspense, Amish & just really great books

Re: One Breath Away (2:37pm August 1, 2012):

your childhood books were also my favorites. Another group that I loved were the Hardy Boys, Little House on the Prairie & an all time favorite was a Weekly Reader book club book called HALF MAGIC. Somewhere over the years I lost my copy. When they did a 50 yrs rerelease of the book I bought it again. Now my grandchildren are enjoying it.

Re: The Reluctant Matchmaker (2:34pm August 1, 2012):

My grandmother was about 4'11". My grandfather was around 6'4". Her head barely came above his belt. He could hold his arms out & she could walk right under without even touching his sleeve. No the marriage didn't work out but not due to the height difference. He never liked tall women. So height shouldn't be a diff. My girlfriend was taller than her husband, my aunt taller than my uncle - they had wonderful marriages that lasted until death.

Re: Can't Hurry Love (2:26pm August 1, 2012):

I guess since my hero (hubby of 45 yrs) is older than me (7 1/2 yrs) I prefer older men. Even as a teenager my screen idol was Jeff Chandler because of his gray hair. Now my husband has gray hair & is even sexier than ever.

Re: Dark Crossings (2:23pm August 1, 2012):

I love reading about the Amish. Christian Fiction is my genre of choice. Would love to read your DARK CROSSINGS.

Re: Rosi's Time (2:18pm August 1, 2012):

I'm going to have to read one of your books. They sound interesting. I like your views on self-promotion. Not too many authors seem to like that part of being an author.

Re: The Secret Mistress (2:16pm August 1, 2012):

Mary, I married a Beta male. There are moments that the Alpha comes out in him. I wouldn't trade him for the world. We recently celebrated our 45th anniversary. Says alot for those betas. He can be the most wonderful person on earth but the alpha shows up whenever he thinks he has to stand up for his family - the beware - it doesn't show it often but believe me its there under the surface

Re: The Secret Mistress (12:21pm July 31, 2012):

Mary love your books. I love the Betas too. They aren't always a Beta, there's a lot of Alpha in them too. When you combine them into one character - oh WOW!! Please enter me into your contest
