The last time Andreas Ferrante saw Sienna Baker, she was
naively trying to seduce him. While her provocative
sensuality is emblazoned on Andreas's memory, the terrible
consequences torment him. So the news that they must marry
to secure his inheritance is unthinkable....
Once devastated by his heartless rejection, seeing
Andreas again makes Sienna's humiliation burn brighter. And
as for marrying him? They'd be lucky to last the ceremony
without killing each other!
But there's a fine line between love and hate.... Will
these flames of anger turn to white–hot passion on
their wedding night?
Yes, I think they are closely related, both require a lot of passion. (Wilma Frana 9:44am September 20, 2012)
I THINK LOVE AND HATE IS CLOSELY RELATED BECAUSE YOU CAN LOVE AND HATE THE PERSON AND THE SAME TIME. ON GOOD DAYS YOU CAN LOVE THE PERON AND BAD DAYS YOU JUST WANT TO HATE EVERYBODY. (Shelly Caggiano 9:44am September 20, 2012)
Hate and Love are two sides of a coin - but closely related - and both get the juices roiling in a person. Sounds like a great book. Best of luck with it. (Nancy Reynolds 9:49am September 20, 2012)
They can be closely related - it depends on what you Hate and what you Love. If two people have essentially the same hates and loves they have a chance. (Beth Elder 9:56am September 20, 2012)
I have always thought that this love and hate relationship was incorrect. It is either one or the other, and more likely goes from love to hate than the reverse, particularly if the hate is valid. Blessings, Marjorie (Marjorie Carmony 10:13am September 20, 2012)
Sometimes. But not always. But I definitely agree that when you have love and hate mixed together there are tons of fireworks. (Pam Howell 10:15am September 20, 2012)
I would love to read this sounds interesting (Shelly Itkin 10:38am September 20, 2012)
The bookcover is beautiful. The blurb sounds interesting & would love a chance to win this. I enter contests hoping to win books by new authors (to me). I'm addicted to reading & love trying out authors I haven't read. Thank you for this opportunity to check out your book. Evn if I don't win I'd like to try the book. I order books at an Indy bookstore by author's name & not by title. Have a blessed day. (Pat Moore 11:55am September 20, 2012)
Oops, I didn't read what I was suppose to say. Yes, if you hate someone it reflects on you & hurts you more than it ever could the person you hate. Like the Bible says, love your enemies. One pastor said to pray & ask God to bless you enemies. Its hard to hate someone that you want God t bless. Goes for a good books (fiction) too. (Pat Moore 11:58am September 20, 2012)
Passion is the key...both love and hate take passion. (Mary Hay 12:29pm September 20, 2012)
Love and hate may be two sides of a coin, but I can't imagine myself loving someone I hate. Hate is a strong, negative word, much stronger than dislike. (Anna Speed 12:43pm September 20, 2012)
Yes I think love and hate are closely related... Your book sounds like one I would enjoy! (Colleen Conklin 1:23pm September 20, 2012)
Yes, Love and hate are related. I have several of those kind of relationships. Sometime it just better to cut all communication especially if the person won't change or meet neutral grounds. Sometime you can love and hate the person at the same time and loving the person wins out. You just tolerate their small faults because loving them makes you happy. (Kai Wong 1:51pm September 20, 2012)
I do think they are related, because you can't hate someone if there hasn't been some sort of love previously. And vice versa.
Later,
Lynn (Lynn Rettig 2:04pm September 20, 2012)
I do think that they are related. (Cynthia St. Germain 2:14pm September 20, 2012)
I read ENEMIES AT THE ALTAR and the love/hate relationship between Sienna and Andreas is very explosive!
It makes for some very fast and witty dialogue! Loved it and I highly recommend it to readers! (Nas Dean 2:50pm September 20, 2012)
'Hate' gives the object of your disaffection power over your emotions, your heart, your very life - and how often does that person never even know of your feelings? You have to let go, be the bigger person, use that passion for good, or at the very least, talk it out with someone removed from the situation to get perspective. (Beth Fuller 3:15pm September 20, 2012)
I think they are related. (Cheryl McEwen 4:42pm September 20, 2012)
As they say there is a fine line between love and hate. (Cindy Olp 4:42pm September 20, 2012)
Passion is the magic word! (Kathy Fowler 4:51pm September 20, 2012)
I think hate is definitely a reflection of our own insecurities. It is easier to hate than admit we see our own flaws in someone. Love and hate are closely related emotions they take lots of energy. The book sounds great nothing like a little friction between characters to make a story great! Would really like to read it. (Ann Sheiring 6:08pm September 20, 2012)
i think this would be a very interesting book to read, hope to win (Kimberly Hoefs 6:08pm September 20, 2012)
Yes, I do agree that hatred is mostly a reflection on the hater - lots of projection going on - definitely a great book - thank you for the opportunity to win! (Felicia Ciaudelli 6:47pm September 20, 2012)
Yes, I do think that love and hate are closely related. They are both very passionate emotions. You can love and hate someone at the same time.
I think that hate is a reflection on us. It only eats away at us, but doesn't harm the one we hate unless we try to ruin them and succeed. (Cathy Phillips 6:48pm September 20, 2012)
Hi everyone, Thanks for all the wonderful comments and insights. Happy reading! (Melanie Milburne 7:28pm September 20, 2012)
I think love and hate are closely related. Book sounds great. Thanks for giving me a chance to win it. (Linda Hall 11:22pm September 20, 2012)
Certainly if you have ever loved someone it is a shame to hate them, but you are more likely to hate someone about whom you have strong feelings, than someone who means nothing to you. About the conundrum in your book, will the man inherit if he marries, then divorces and gets an anullment if that is his wish? Seems sensible. (Clare O'Beara 8:39am September 21, 2012)
Yes I think that love and hate are closely related. Your book sounds wonderful, thanks for the chance to win a copy! (Christine Mead 7:36pm September 22, 2012)
Love and hate are strong emeotions at opposite ends of a seesaw or teeter totter. Hating someone isn't a pretty site and ususally reflects upon yourself. (Alyson Widen 5:54pm September 26, 2012)
