Sizzlin' Summer!

Not too much on the horizon for this summer. Plenty of reading, gardening, canning and preserving, and maybe, just maybe a vacation.

We have a large garden, so I will be busy gardening, harvesting and preserving the harvest. We have tomatoes, bell peppers, various hot peppers, okra, cucumbers, corn, radishes, green beans and canatalope. Plenty to keep me busy when I'm not reading.

A short trip to Philly to visit with our daughter and her family. We have a brand new granddaughter we have not met. Can't wait to hold her in my arms. That makes six Grands for us! Maybe a getaway weekend or two for Hubs and I to go lay around the lake and fish.
