Instead of trying to find your perfect match in a dating app, we bring you the “Author-Reader
Match” where we introduce you to authors you may fall in love with. It’s our great pleasure to
present Sarah Monzon!
Writes:
Sarah Monzon writes light-hearted romantic comedies with depth from a Christian worldview, like her Fall 2025 release, HEARTS IN CIRCULATION. She has a passion for writing characters with underrepresented backstories in fiction, like a heroine with alopecia (AN OVERDUE MATCH) or a hero with sensory processing disorder (HEARTS IN CIRCULATION). She hopes readers will laugh, swoon, and grow in kindness and empathy when the last page of her books close.
About:
A military spouse and mother of two, Sarah resides wherever the Navy sends her family. She’s currently enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and loves to spend her time in nature—when she’s not writing or reading, that is. She’s a bit of a recluse due to her social anxiety, but if you really want to get to know her, all you have to do is read her books as she’s extremely authentic and vulnerable, putting a lot of her own personal experiences in her characters’ backstories and arcs.
The ideal reader match for my book HEARTS IN CIRCULATION must love:
• Heroes with grumpy exteriors and marshmallowy soft insides
• Emotionally mature heroines who don’t gaslight themselves about their feelings
• Quirky small town side characters
• Low spice romance (kisses only!) that’s still filled with romantic tension
• Lots of bookish references!
If we’re compatible, expect:
• A backlist of books that’s easily bingeable
• HEA guaranteed every time
• Relatable and unique characters
• Romance novels you can share with your daughters without worrying about cuss words or explicit scenes
Narrator: Allyson Morgan
Checking Out Love #2

A Christian Contemporary Autumn Rom-Com Book-about-Books with Forced-Proximity, Grumpy-Sunshine, and Pen-Pal Romance
Can a rundown bookmobile be the vehicle that brings two unlikely hearts together?
Little Creek's bookmobile is more of a death trap on wheels than a vehicle of literary delights, and circulation librarian Hayley Holt is afraid it's going to careen down a mountainside with her in it. Yet she sees it as a way to serve her community and be worthy of the liver transplant that saved her life as a child. However, her fears come true when the bookmobile breaks down and a rockslide traps her in the small hollow of Turkey Grove.
Reclusive mechanic Levi Redding lives in tiny Turkey Grove to get away from people. He can handle getting the bookmobile running again, but the endless chatter and unsettling touches from the vibrant librarian leave him overstimulated. When forced proximity leads to a misunderstanding, a note of apology begins an epistolary friendship, proving that sometimes the happiest of endings aren't contained within the bindings of a book.
