Sabine Barclay | Conversations in Character with Pablo

facebookamazonInstagram

Sabine: Hello, Pablo. Thanks for sitting down with me today. I’m looking forward to readers getting to know you a little better. You’re a member of the notorious Diaz family. How are you related to Enrique Diaz?
Pablo:
I’m Tío Enrique’s oldest nephew. My father, Luis, is my tío’s younger brother.

Sabine: Are you an only child?
Pablo:
No, I had a younger brother who was a police officer for New York City. He—ah—had an unfortunate accident around the time his former childhood best friend, Laura, and her husband, Maksim—the head of the bratva—had twins.

Sabine: Has your family been in New York long?
Pablo:
My father and tío went to boarding school and university here, but they were raised in Colombia just like my mother and tías. They all moved to the U.S. as adults. My mother moved here after she and Papá got married. One of my cousins was born here, and the other three were born in Bogotá.

Sabine: Is it hard being known as the jefe de jefe’s—boss of boss’s—nephew? Your family seems to get a lot of attention.
Pablo:
When your family is as wealthy as mine and has such varied business endeavors, it’s difficult not to draw attention.

Sabine: You didn’t mention whether it’s hard having an uncle who’s a cartel leader.
Pablo:
Cartel? What Cartel?

Sabine: Uh… What’s your role in the family?
Pablo:
I lead many of the day-to-day operations of those business endeavors that are part of Diaz Holdings. I also independently own several businesses, including an oil refinery and three luxury car dealerships. I’m involved in biotech as a trained chemist.

Sabine: A trained chemist? That must come in handy in your family’s line of business.
Pablo:
My family’s line of business?

Sabine: Yes, as—uh—hmm—your family has a reputation for exporting goods from Colombia. Are you involved in that?
Pablo:
Yes. As I said, I own an oil refinery. That’s Colombia’s leading export.

Sabine: I meant Colombia’s other leading export. (Silence.) All right. Did you know Florencia’s connection to your family before you met?
Pablo:
Flora’s father had unsuccessful business deals with my family.

Sabine: Her father was supposed to marry your aunt Luciana.
Pablo:
An unsuccessful business deal.

Sabine: Florencia is also a trained chemist. Does she work for your family?
Pablo:
Yes.

Sabine: Doing?
Pablo:
Chemistry.

Sabine: Is that all you can say?
Pablo:
As I tell Flora, don’t ask questions you already know the answer to.

Sabine: Did you have a quiet romance, or was it rather—exciting like Enrique’s and your cousin Javier’s?
Pablo:
We had some adventures.

Sabine: What’s next?
Pablo:
Jorge is having a hard time waiting until December to tell you about his CARTEL ROSE. A business trip to Frankfurt changes his entire world.

CARTEL PRINCE by Sabine Barclay

Cartel Brotherhood #3

Pablo

Pablo—I’m dark. When people call me that, they don’t just mean my hair and eyes. I’m the enforcer. The man in your nightmares. But her…I want her, but I can’t trust her. Her family is my enemy. She works for the one man we despise more than anyone else. But she doesn’t fear me when everyone else does. She doesn’t back down. She’s the one woman who could help me rule my family’s empire one day. My reina—my queen. I’ll give her body pleasure and leave her breathless. Touch her, and I'll leave you breathless…But there’ll be no pleasure.

Florencia—In the Colombian underworld, my father robbed Pablo’s aunt of her happily ever after and left his cousins fatherless. Now I’m the woman who’s supposed to destroy his family. I didn’t ask to work for his uncle. I didn’t ask to be a repayment for my father’s debts—a man I never met. I’m so far in over my head I’m drowning, and the last man I should rely on is the only one willing to save me. I want him, but I can’t trust him. His touch makes me crave more, makes me dream of something that should never be. He’s the prince of darkness who steals my heart. There’s nothing I won’t do to protect what’s mine.

Cartel Prince is an interconnecting, standalone Dark Mafia Romance with a HEA and no cliffhanger. It contains EXTRA-STEAMY scenes that will make your toes curl and your granny blush. The Cartel Brotherhood is a six-book series that’ll keep you warm at night.

You’ll meet all 24 men of the Four Families throughout the interconnected series, each taking their turn to fall in love. By the end, you’ll have a love/hate relationship with them all.
