My series, Ghost Ops, is coming out soon. The first book, HEART OF DANGER, is coming out on July 8. The second book, I DREAM OF DANGER, is coming out on August 5, and the third and final book. BREAKING DANGER, is coming out on September 9.
These books are books of the heart. I loved writing them. The books are set in the near future where things are unravelling fast but Haven doesn’t unravel. Everyone in Haven is strong and steadfast.
The Ghost Ops series features three elite warriors, Thomas ‘Mac’ McEnroe, Nick Ross and Jon Ryan. Ghost Ops was a classified Special Operations unit so secret that there was no trace of the men who belonged to it. They had to be men without connections – no family, no girlfriends, no wives, no children. All of their records were expunged. All photographs destroyed. No trace of their previous life was left. They were completely dedicated to the task of fighting bad guys, and winning. But their work was secret and in the shadows.
They were Ghosts.
Each had his own reason for renouncing the world. The outside world had nothing for them. Their unit was everything, led by a man they worshipped, Lucius Ward.
On a mission to stop a lab that they thought was weaponizing yersinia pestis, the plague, they were ambushed, and the unit was destroyed except for Mac, Nick and Jon. They’d been betrayed by their commander, sent on the mission on a lie, and were arrested. On the way to their court martial, the three escaped and disappeared. The entire US military and law enforcement couldn’t find them. They were gone.
They set up a super high tech lair inside a carved out mountain in northern California. Haven. They are the world’s greatest experts on security, the US government can never find them and yet…the damndest thing. People start arriving on their doorstep. Talented people who have stepped on the wrong toes. They arrive bleeding and hunted and in trouble. And Mac and Nick and Jon take them in.
And they start to form a community of gifted people determined to create something very special, away from a world that has hurt them. And Mac and Nick and Jon are determined to protect them.
And then—the world starts falling apart. A deathly plague has been let loose upon the land and the special talents of the rogue soldiers, and their band of refugees are exactly what the world needs.
