Tomorrow is the first day of October. Scary shows are on TV. Pumpkins are popping up on doorsteps. And it’s definitely the season for some paranormal reads. In my case, I’m all about the paranormal suspense stories (those with a bit of romance thrown in for fun!).
Ah, paranormal suspense. Stories full of vampires and werewolves…and murder and mystery. Mix all of those elements together, and I am absolutely delighted. It’s like creating a wonderful treat full of my favorite things.
Who writes paranormal (romantic) suspense? So. Many. Fabulous authors.
Let’s start with TRUE WOLF by Pagie Tyler. If you love fierce, alpha werewolves, then her hero Caleb is for you. Caleb has to track down some bad guys who have snatched some very dangerous weapons from the Air Force (hello, suspense!). Heat. Danger. Romance. Yes, please!
Next up? Heather Graham. Heather Graham has a ton of great books that mix paranormal elements with romantic suspense. She actually has a brand-new release out, LEGACY OF BLOOD, that I am dying to read (yep, did you see what I did there?). The hero and heroine go on a bloody hunt in Paris, and it sure appears to be an action packed read.
And another supernatural read to add to your agenda? Ahem, well, this time, I’ll throw in one of my own titles. I did tell you I loved paranormal suspense, right? I love to read the books and to write them. If you are in the mood for a fierce tiger shifter hero who has to protect his mate from a psychotic killer…then HUNT ME DOWN might just be the book you want to read this spooky season.
