Instead of trying to find your perfect match in a dating app, we bring you the “Author-Reader Match" where we introduce you to authors you may fall in love with. It's our great pleasure to present Danielle Bannister (who also writes under Dani Bannister)!
Writes:
Fair warning. THE SAFEHOUSE, and the first book in The Captive Series, THE CAGE are NSFW. Or children. Or people who don’t like spicy scenes. Or those who don’t enjoy a hint of danger to their romance. This series is for slightly twisted readers. You know who you are.
About:
Because the author is a Libra, she can’t help but have a light and a dark side, which is why she writes in sweet romance as well as sexy and suspenseful. As such, no matter your mood, she probably has something for you, especially if you like broken characters eventually finding their happily ever after they muck things up a bit first.
What I’m looking for in my ideal reader match:
- Someone who has read book one, THE CAGE (Otherwise they will be quite confused.)
- Is not disturbed by spicy content. Okay, a lot of spicy content.
- Loves a page-turner that will keep them up to the wee hours. (Apologies in advance.)
- Isn’t turned off by edgy stories that make you question if this is a romance or a horror series
- Doesn’t mind the use of F-bombs. The characters in this series have potty mouths.
- Enjoys multiple POVs. Because even the bad guys deserve to share their side of the story, right?
What to expect if we're compatible:
If you enjoyed THE SAFEHOUSE, you can dive into the twenty-five-plus other books in her backlist with varying spice levels to whet your reading appetite. Some are sexy, some are sweet, and some are suspenseful. There’s something for every romance reader whether you like your romance spice-level mild, medium, or hot, hot, hot! Danielle/Dani Bannister has you covered.
The Cage #2
He wanted his property back…
Amanda Jackson had succumbed to the fact that she’d been a captive. That she’d involuntary fallen victim to an underground market of despicable men. To protect herself, she was willing to try anything; even attempting to convince her captor that he loved her. That plan backfired.
Connor Brooks didn’t show emotions with his captives. Bring them in, get them out, collect the cash, and repeat the process. Amanda, however, was different. He found himself growing attached to her. Possessive. When another man stole him from her, Connor was determined to get her back. By any means necessary.
Malcolm Luxx was used to dealing with shady business practices. He ran one of his own in the art world. He drew the line at Connor’s business. When he discovered one of the women he’d taken was his high school crush, he swooped in and saved her. Or so he thought.
Will the safehouse Malcolm has across the country be far enough to keep Connor and his goons from finding Amanda? Or by taking Amanda, has Malcolm just signed both of their death certificates?
He wanted his property back. And he’d get her even in The Safehouse
The Safehouse is book 2 in a dark series by Danielle Bannister. The Cage must be read first in order to understand the events that happen in The Safehouse. The Safehouse is told in the POVs of the captor, the captive, and the rescuer’s perspectives. Please be sure to read with care and check for tropes on the author's website.
