About women Pinkerton Agents in this period of the old west.
7--Do you edit as you draft or wait until you are totally done?
I edit as I draft; that works for me.

Creme Brulee
9--Describe your writing space/office!
I'm fortunate to now have a separate office where I can close the door; when I started writing I was a closet writer, literally, in a large close in our former house.

So many... Diana Gabaldon, Janet Evanovich, Tanya Anne Crosby
11--Is there a book that changed your life?
The Black Lyon by Jude Devereaux; then the Outlander series
12--Tell us about when you got “the call.” (when you found out your book was going to be published)
I sent three copies of the proposal for my first book out to three different publishers; and received two contract offers. I was really in trouble then since I didn't have an agent to walk me through the process. Talk about the cart before the horse! I got one right away.
13--What’s your favorite genre to read?
Historical Mystery with a hint of romance
14--What’s your favorite movie?
Ghost and Mrs. Muir (an oldie but a goodie)
15--What is your favorite season?
Definitely Fall, changing of seasons, and snuggling in front of a fire.
16--How do you like to celebrate your birthday?
Out to dinner with my favorite cowboy.
17--What’s a recent tv show/movie/book/podcast you highly recommend?
I don't watch a lot of television, but TV Movie it would have to be Heaven is for Real. As far as tv show: Yellowstone.

Flank steak at the Cowboy Tavern
19--What do you do when you have free time?
What is that?! Free time is spent developing out the next book. Authors, at least the ones I know, tend to have OCD.

Book 3 in the Angus Brodie and Mikaela Forsythe Murder Mystery Series, and Book 4, 5, 6, and the full series coming to audio as well.

Twenty five books and counting! Or is it twenty six? Very possibly by the time this is posted. I started this crazy journey a few years ago, after reading several historical romances then declaring "I can do this!" Husband, always supportive. replied, "Then do it!" And she did, as the saying goes. Along the way, there were two romantic suspense novels and a time-travel novel, and two film options... But I digress. My current series is a historical murder mystery with a hint of romance, starting with A Deadly Affair, Angus Brodie and Mikaela Forsythe, Murder Mystery Book 1, with Book 2 to be released soon, followed by Book 3, and... We live in the Sierra Mountains outside of Yosemite National Park and when not writing my next book, we hit the trails on our horses.
