One of my favorite things about eharlequin what they offer. One of my favorite offers is Free Book Fridays. If you buy 2 books on Friday then Harlequin gives you a free book. You can even view the book they will give you on the website. Itís a different book every Friday, now thatís a great reason to shop online.

Also they have an Author Spotlight. On this particular day itís Sherryl Woods with her book Welcome to Serenity. The Author Spotlight gives a couple of paragraphs about this author. Itís a great way to meet new authors and learn more about your favorite authors.

And readers you have a place on the site as well. You can post messages about what you like about the site and one is posted on the homepage for everyone to read.

Harlequin also has Podcasts. This is where authors talk about their books and editors talk about what they are looking for. Itís a really great feature for readers and writers.

Free Reads is one of my favorite things. Harlequin offers a free book pretty much. Chapters are submitted every couple of weeks. Books from Blaze to Nocturne are posted. Itís a great way to read a line from Harlequin and Silhouette that you have never read before. They also offer Mira, Spice, Steeple Hill, and several other lines.

And lastly, Harlequin offers specials and deals that you will only find online. Sometimes you get 40% off and sometimes you buy five books and choose any two you want for free. They offer deals online that they canít offer in department stores or bookstores. So check it out and see what kind of savings you can get today.

One of my favorite types of books to read is when a hero and heroine are working together to solve a problem. I love when the woman is in trouble and the man is there to protect her. Harlequin Intrigue offers just that, and most of the stories are about men in uniform and men that are rough.

Secrets in Four Corners by Debra Webb is about Sheriff Patrick Martinez, who runs the small town of Kenner City, Colorado. Nothing big usually happens in this town until an FBI body shows up. Now he must work side-by-side with Bree Hunter. Bree and Patrick share a past that both want to keep in the past. Itís easyÖwell for the most part, until a stalker sets his eyes on Bree.

Harlan is on a Military mission. He must protect Gina Rodgers and her nephew Adam. Adamís mom has gone missing and now a killer is after Gina and Adam. Gina could tell from the start that Harlan held secrets; did those secrets involve her sisterís disappearance? Find out in Better than Bulletproof by Kay Thomas.

Silhouette Romantic Suspense also offers books along the lines of Harlequin Intrigue. Check out Terms of Engagement by Kylie Brant. Lindsayís cover had been blown and now she was on the run again. Everything Jack Langley knew about her was a lie. But now this SWAT cop was chasing after her. They both are in danger, now he must protect her, and push aside the desire he has for Lindsay.

Valentineís Day is just around the corner, so hereís an early read to hold you over until February. The Executiveís Valentine Seduction by Merline Lovelace. Rory Burke wanted Caroline Walters as his main course. They shared a past together, and now Rory knew the truth about Caroline. His plan is to seduce her into marriage. But what happens when the tables turn on him?

Happy Reading,

Tonya

Re: eHarlequin "How-tos"

I had no idea Harlequin offered free reads! I think this is great. There are a couple of lines I haven't read yet, so I'll be sure to check out the free reads.

You've been telling me about your column for a couple of months now. I thought I would check it out. Nice job and I will check in every month.
