What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Florida?
Sunshine?
We are called the Sunshine State! Theme parks like Disney World, Universal
Studios, Epcot? You betcha. Can’t forget our alligators, along with
lumbering
manatees, and all kinds of other exotic wildlife . Oh, and the fabulous
fishing—world class in our Florida Keys.

But one really big thing we have are boats—a lot of them. Flanked to
the
east by the Atlantic Ocean and to the west by the Gulf of Mexico, with more
lakes
and rivers than I can count, means boating is BIG in Florida. Anything from
small, flat-bottom skiffs to multi-million dollar yachts ply our waters…and
that’s where I come in.

Growing up in a boating family (assuredly NOT the multi-million dollar kind) I had my feet wet and sea legs from early on. It’s a whole other world, this boating lifestyle. From the bathing suit and t-shirt wearing kind to the Gucci and Prada set. So I began to wonder what mixing the mega-yacht jet set with your average, everyday guy or gal would be like. Let’s face it…romance is about suspending real life––escaping to places we would never otherwise visit. Take your wildest fantasies…blur the lines of inhibition and rules into the distance… add in explosive chemistry, the occasional tricky relationship and the Blue Water Seduction series was born. Ava Branson is a native Floridian, born and raised. She grew up in a boating
family on the Atlantic coast and had sand between her toes from birth. A ten
year
span spent living in Colorado taught her a love and appreciation of the
mountains, but the ocean called her back home and Florida is where she
settled,
raising two children and any number of cats.

When she’s not writing (which is rare) she’s thinking of stories to write
(which
is always) and just hopes to be able to share a fraction of the countless
romances she has dreamed up with readers.
