Spring Fling - A Chapter At A Time

amazonbookbubgoodreadstwitterfacebookInstagram

Never really had a Spring Break. However, Spring is here - the gardens are calling, the spring cleaning is waiting, I need to plan my summer programs, and my to read bookcase is over flowing.

Just finished "What I Did For Love" by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, am working on 2 Lisa Jackson books, will start Robyn Carr's "Second Chance Pass" next, then move on to Cathie Linz's "Bad Girls Don't".

Of course there will be about a dozen other books thrown in, but those are on top of the pile. Just got a new Christina Dodd and Jayne Castle tonight.

Hmm...no wonder my spring cleaning doesn't seem to get done. Good thing I only read at lunch when I'm at work - but then, I'm a children's librarian so there is job related reading that must be done. Have to read those books like the "Twilight" and "Inkheart" series for professional purposes, of course.

Thank Heaven for books on CD. Have one going in the car at all times (just finished Nora Ephron's "What I Hate about My Neck" - wonderfully funny and too true). Now if I could only be able to read while doing housework (and no, a walkman or Playaway aren't really options. I don't like being cut off from what is going on around me). Guess I'll have to take my Spring Break a chapter at a time.

Hope you all have a great Spring Break!

Hey, anything to get some reading done, huh?

Have not had much time to read lately but made time to read Robyn's Virgin River new releases. Just got the lastest yesterday.

It is snowing in Cleveland as I write this. Spring is a time of hope (Like the Cavs not blowing it in the NBA finals, the Indians making it to the playoff's and most pie in the sky, the Browns being a contender). I guess that is why I love romance novels; despite trials there is always a happy ending. Hope everyone has a happy (hopefully snow free) spring.

Sounds like u are covered in books!! What a LOVELY WAY to cover!! LOL I am a fanatic for books! They are like my kids. I had my daughter say one of her friends said someone told her to go to the library. She said she didn't like that cause it made her feel like she was returning her kids. LOL LOL I feel the same.
Please enter me in the contest. Thanks
