1--What is the title of your latest release?
The Divorcétante
2--What’s the “elevator pitch” for your new book?
When scandal shatters her picture-perfect life, an elite event planner trades perfection for reinvention as The Divorcétante. With a high-profile wedding on the line and a charming architect in her way, she must choose between guarding her image or risking it all for a second chance at love.
3--How did you decide where your book was going to take place?
I wanted this high-society upper-crust town to have that Southern charm, and Georgia felt like the perfect place to encapsulate a mid-sized town with big drama and even bigger personalities.
4--Would you hang out with your protagonist in real life?
Absolutely! I’m basically an honorary divatante. Ebony’s social circle is fun, fashionable, fabulous, and for the girls.
5--What are three words that describe your protagonist?
Passionate, empowered, phenomenal.
6--What’s something you learned while writing this book?
I’m in my dram-rom era. The Divorcétante isn’t a rom-com. It’s drama plus a sexy, scandalous, second chance romantic escape.
7--Do you edit as you draft or wait until you are totally done?
Guilty! I edit as I draft. I constantly go back, layering in more story elements and deepening the character arcs.
8--What’s your favorite foodie indulgence?
Do beignets count? I love them, and with enough powdered sugar…glorious. Get me to New Orleans!
9--Describe your writing space/office!
I’m usually in my office with my pup assistant, but my favorite writing space is seated in a busy café, drinking coffee, and typing away. The K9 guilt-trip when I leave, is fierce, though. Lol
10--Who is an author you admire?
Just one? There are so many I admire, but can I cheat, and say Kennedy Henry (Kennedy Ryan and Emily Henry)? Their work ethic, professionalism, and engagement with their readership and other authors are what I strive for.
11--Is there a book that changed your life?
Emily Giffin’s Something Borrowed was the first book I read that gave me the same vibe as the 90s rom-com movies I loved. I raced through her catalog. then searched for more. Up to that point, I’d been writing children’s books and poetry, still figuring out where I belonged in the book world. Her books weren’t exactly where I fit, but they lit up the path. I knew I wanted to write romance.
12--Tell us about when you got “the call.” (when you found out your book was going to be published)/Or, for indie authors, when you decided to self-publish.
For The Divorcétante, I was beyond thrilled when I got “the call” to help launch Honey Blossom Press with the Summer of Love campaign. We discussed a summery, Southern high-society, second chance romance with flawed and fabulous characters, and I was in!
13--What’s your favorite genre to read?
Romance takes the crown. Nothing beats a guaranteed happily ever after and keeping love at the forefront.
14--What’s your favorite movie?
Crazy Rich Asians has been sitting pretty at the top of my movie list for a few years. Romance, messy family dynamics, glitz and glam. You can’t go wrong.
15--What is your favorite season?
Summer. Give me beaches, umbrella drinks, a good book, and sand between my toes any day.
16--How do you like to celebrate your birthday?
Always with cake and ice cream surrounded by family.
17--What’s a recent tv show/movie/book/podcast you highly recommend?
Let’s go with a tv show this time. I highly recommend Forever on Netflix. If you enjoy coming-of-age love stories with an epic feel and gorgeous backdrops like LA and Martha’s Vineyard, this one is it!
18--What’s your favorite type of cuisine?
Italian is my comfort food. Between the fresh pasta and vegetables and savory sauces, yes please!
19--What do you do when you have free time?
In my free time, I love going to the theater or movies, cruising, playing board games, or playing Animal Crossing.
20--What can readers expect from you next?
More divatantes, of course! In The Divorcétante, we met Ebony Grace Livingston and her fabulous crew, and now we’re cranking up the drama. More fashion, more scandal, more over-the-top luxury, more fiery love, and dare I say…a billionaire? Get ready!
Divatantes #1

Ebony Grace Livingston was raised to be flawless. A debutante-turned-elite event planner, she built a life around breathtaking galas, whispered exclusives, and the kind of connections money can't buy. But when her husband's betrayal turns her into high society's juiciest scandal, Ebony decides she's done curating perfection for everyone but herself.
With a high-profile wedding to pull off, a social media following obsessed with her every move, and a no-nonsense life coach reminding her that the real glow-up starts from within, Ebony is ready to write her next chapter - on her own terms. The only thing standing in her way? Lincoln Bridges, the maddeningly meticulous architect overseeing the historic venue she needs to transform. He's stubborn, insufferably charming, and worst of all, the one man who saw through her marriage before she did.
Their creative clashes reignite old wounds, unfinished business, and the kind of chemistry that once felt inevitable. But in a world where power is played in private lounges, loyalty is measured in invitations, and champagne flows as freely as the gossip, Ebony will have to decide if rewriting her future means making room for something real.
Set in an exclusive world where wealth whispers, bottomless brunches double as battleground boardrooms, and reputation is the ultimate currency, Ebony is about to prove that reinvention isn't just an option - it's a luxury she's finally ready to afford.
