About:

I’m a California native with a penchant for the bizarre. A lover of all things silly and strange, I write YA fiction that’s heavy on romance, friendship, family dynamics, and pop culture, all in worlds that contain secret little pockets of magic. My interests include Motown music, true crime documentaries, pretending my obsession with needlecraft makes me “fun” and not lame, and relentlessly quoting The Office.

Originally from San Diego, California, MOLLY MORRIS moved to the UK to study for her Masters on the University of East Anglia’s prestigious Creative Writing Prose program, and it was only after finishing here that she began writing Young Adult fiction – her writing and reading true love. Nowadays, she spends her time re-watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The X-Files while doing up her 18th-century house.
