Instead of trying to find your perfect match in a dating app, we bring you the “Author-Reader Match" where we introduce you to authors you may fall in love with. It's our great pleasure to present Jennifer Vido!
Writes:
I write sweet romances set in the Lowcountry—think Hallmark movies with Southern charm. The award-winning Gull Island series was inspired by a family vacation to Fripp Island, South Carolina. The trilogy can be read in order or as three standalone stories. “Serenity by the Sea” is the second book in the series and features a celebrity designer and a local project manager who must partner on a renovation. Hailey brings baggage from her high-profile divorce from a renowned chef, and Will is on track to become a partner in the family business. Both of their careers are riding on the success of this project. The friction between the two sparks tension on the job and in their personal lives. If you’re a fan of HGTV, you’ll love the design elements and style inspiration throughout the book.
About:
I’m a Jersey Shore girl who currently lives in Maryland. Growing up near the ocean inspired my love for the sun, sea, and sand. Nowadays, I like crab cakes, Old Bay seasoning, and Smith Island Cake. As a frequent summer visitor to South Carolina, I find the Lowcountry holds a special place in my heart. If I could live anywhere, it would be on Fripp Island—maybe one day! I’m a sweet romance author, so not surprisingly, I am a big Hallmark fan. I especially like Christmas movies in July. I hope my Gull Island series becomes a movie on my favorite channel. Fingers crossed! When not writing, I interview writers for my Jen’s Jewels author interview column on FreshFiction.com. I love chatting with authors about their inspiration and publication journey, especially the not-so-typical road taken. If I’m not reading or writing, I’m spending time with my family and rescue dog, Fripp—named after the island that sparked the idea for my series.
My ideal match for my new release, SERENITY BY THE SEA, must love…
