E is for Exploration – The characters explore not only the beauty of the outdoors but themselves as well.
A is for Alaska – The setting plays a big role in the story, and I hope readers feel immersed in the amazing location and it makes them want to take their own Alaskan cruise.
R is for Rivals – One of my favorite romance tropes, longtime acquaintances who don’t get along but who learn there might be more to the person they dislike than they ever realized.
T is for Tanner – Our hero, a football player who’s fun and outgoing and a bit of a daredevil.
S is for Savannah – Our heroine, a science-loving girl who prefers to stick with what’s safe and familiar.
O is for Opposites Attract – Another favorite romance trope of mine, when two people who seem so different find they complement each other in ways they didn’t expect.
V is for Vacation – When better to find yourself and find love than on a bucket-list trip!
E is for Engineering – Savannah is a STEM girl through and through who would rather study the engineering of a cruise ship than sail it into the wilderness.
R is for Romance – Come to Alaska for the nature, stay and fall in love!
B is for Banter – As with all my books, one of my favorite things to write is the banter between the characters.
O is for Out of Comfort Zone – Alaska definitely pushes Savannah to try new things and confront her fears.
A is for Adventure – Because you can’t visit Alaska without ziplining and whitewater rafting and so much more.
R is for References to Science Fiction – Like me, Savannah enjoys science fiction shows, so you’ll find lots of geeky references to many franchises.
D is for Dad Jokes – Mostly about bears, liberally sprinkled throughout.
Set sail with this banter-filled rivals-to-lovers romance between a STEM-loving girl and a jock guy that will fill you with wanderlust...and have you rooting for love in the great outdoors!
Love is on the horizon...
After a very public breakup during which her ex, Caleb, tells her she is both (a) boring and (b) stuck in her ways, Savannah Moore decides that going with her mom on her company cruise to Alaska presents the perfect opportunity to show people how fun she is.
It won’t be easy, though. Her longtime nemesis, Tanner Woods, is also on the ship. His family and Savannah's are friends, and Tanner knows her better than she’d like to admit. When he learns of her plan, Tanner wants to help, and he encourages her to try everything: zip-lining and dogsledding, hiking the bear-infested Alaskan wilderness, singing late night karaoke, and taking a polar plunge. That’ll show Caleb just what he’s missing.
Except after spending so much time with Tanner, Savannah’s not sure Caleb is the one she wants anymore...
