Hey everyone! So glad to be here and thank you Miranda for having me. All right, let’s get to it!
What do I write? I have a background in journalism and script writing, but recently I’ve slipped into fiction novel writing—and I love it. Genres I write are urban fantasy, romantasy, horror, and mystery/thriller.
About: I’m a mom of two boys and two dogs, and the wife of an ever-patient husband. I love horror movies and often do scary movie marathons with my teenager. We love every flavor of horror.
Occasionally you can also find me in the garden. It’s always a surprise when something actually blooms, but that doesn’t stop me from trying new bulbs and seeds every year. I just know that, eventually, the garden gnomes are gonna stop laughing to help me out. Tiny little bastards.
What I’m looking for in my ideal match: My ideal match means I can reach for the moon and stars on this right? I’d love a reader who falls too hard for characters, longs to be able to spend just a day with them. Adult readers who like to chew on the boundaries of what defines good and bad. I need a reader who likes larger messages written between the lines. And after all that, a reader who reviews! Oh please, yes!
What to expect if we’re compatible:
- Hijinx of some sort. I just can’t help myself.
- A mixture of dark themes and humorous banter.
- Diverse characters.
- Several things going on at once. I call them layers, but it could also be called chaos.
- Fast pacing. Most of my editing involves taking a step back and slowing it down.
- A detailed setting. My love for fantasy insists upon it.
