My most recent novel, YOU’RE INVITED, follows a woman who discovers that her ex-best friend is marrying her ex-boyfriend and would go to any length to stop the wedding, until the bride is presumed dead, and she’s blamed for the murder.

When I’m not reading about murder, writing about murder, or dreaming up interesting ways to murder someone (which takes up 90% of my time) I run a cookie shop (such a cliché, right?), run corporate trainings, and am a doting dog mother to my two exuberant huskies.
What I’m looking for in my ideal reader match:

What to expect if we're compatible:
I absolutely live for those “did that just happen?” moments, and my main goal as a writer is to keep my readers on their toes. Expect a web of secrets, dark pasts, lies, and a dash of murder. I’m also known not to shy away from discussing various women’s issues in my writing, and You’re Invited is no different— we touch on friendship breakups, classism, and the lasting impacts of gossip in closed societies.
When Amaya is invited to Kaavi’s over-the-top wedding in Sri Lanka, she is surprised and a little hurt to hear from her former best friend after so many years of radio silence. But when Amaya learns that the groom is her very own ex-boyfriend, she is consumed by a single thought: She must stop the wedding from happening, no matter the cost.
But as the weeklong wedding celebrations begin and rumors about Amaya’s past begin to swirl, she can’t help but feel like she also has a target on her back. When Kaavi goes missing and is presumed dead, all evidence points to Amaya.
