2--What’s the “elevator pitch” for your new book?
What if the sigils in Hogwart’s houses became flesh and blood, seeking out their fated mates?
3--How did you decide where your book was going to take place?
I’ve always loved the movie, Gladiator, so I wanted to do something in a gladiatorial arena.
4--Would you hang out with your heroine in real life?
I am my heroine in real life. Each one of them carries a facet of my personality. So, yeah.
5--What are three words that describe your hero?
Direct, passionate, and strong-willed.
6--What’s something you learned while writing this book?
I learned that I’m capable of following my intuition despite whatever feedback comes my way.
7--Do you edit as you draft or wait until you are totally done?
I go back and read through and revise the first part when I reach the halfway point. Then the entire thing when it’s complete.
8--What’s your favorite foodie indulgence?
Food is life, bro.
9--Describe your writing space/office!
My bed. Haha. Where all the magic happens, literary and not. ;)
10--Who is an author you admire?
Kresley Cole.
11--Is there a book that changed your life?
Several romance books have helped shape who I am and what I do, making it hard to pin down just one.
12--Tell us about when you got “the call.” (when you found out your book was going to be published)
I called myself since I’m an indie. Haha. Maybe I’ll go trad one day, but if I were to imagine that scenario, there’d be much screaming and jumping of joy, followed by a dumbfounded disbelief.
13--What’s your favorite genre to read?
Romance, all the way, baby.
14--What’s your favorite movie?
The Last of the Mohicans.
15--What is your favorite season?
Each season brings a unique essence to life.
16--How do you like to celebrate your birthday?
I tend to be low-key with those types of things.

Wheel of Time.

American or Chinese.

Free time? What’s this thing you speak of? J/k (kinda) I love to be with loved ones.

Miranda Bridges began sneaking romance novels as a teenager and did not confess to reading them until she became a legal adult. After years and years as a voracious reader she woke up one day with a story in mind.
