Re: The Mystery Writers of America Cookbook (9:39pm March 31, 2015):

Strawberry cheesecake!!

Re: SWAT Secret Admirer (9:35pm March 31, 2015):

This book sounds great. I'm looking forward to reading it!

Re: Accidentally Married on Purpose (10:07pm July 17, 2014):

I can't remember having a crush back in the ancient days
when I was a youngster.(The 1940s)There was no such thing
as posters to plaster on the walls of my room. All my spare time was spent with my nose in a book. Books and reading
were my main interest!!!

Re: Her Perfect Mate (5:46pm May 16, 2014):

Sounds like a book I would enjoy! I love men in military uniform!

Re: Frisky Business (5:41pm May 16, 2014):

I met my Honey 55 years ago and we were married in 1961.
I've not dated since those days, except for our "date nights."

Re: Wakeworld (5:29pm May 16, 2014):

I would be the grandmotherly dragon, watching over the little
dragons! LOL

Re: Somebody Like You (5:26pm May 16, 2014):

You are a new-to-me author and I look forward to reading this book!

Re: Rustler's Heart (10:01pm April 22, 2014):

Kind-hearted and always ready to lend a helping hand.
Thanks for the contest!

Re: The Butterfly Sister (6:44pm October 19, 2013):

New to me author with a book that sounds most interesting!

Re: Three Days on Mimosa Lane (11:17pm August 19, 2013):

When my sister passed away, we became her daughter's
legal guardians and raised her with our three. We did
not consider this a sacrifice, but more a blessing for
us all.

Re: Three Days on Mimosa Lane (10:20pm August 15, 2013):

My younger sister succumbed to breast cancer in 1975, leaving a 3 y/o daughter. Prior to her death, we agreed
to take her daughter and raise her with the 3 children
we already had. We count this more as a blessing than a sacrifice, having her, two more grandsons, and a grandkitty!

Re: Traveling Light (6:09pm July 27, 2013):

Very much enjoyed the posting, will be adding this book to
my TBR listing. Must know how it all turns out! Is it being
nosy or having a healthy interest in people?

Re: One Night (6:06pm June 23, 2013):

My sibs and I attended a graduation party in 1959 where
I invited a tall slim Texan to share my chair during an
intermission. We mixed and mingled through the last half
of the evening. On the way home, he told his friend that
he was going to marry me! We were married 2 years later.
We celebrated our 52nd anniversary this past April!

Re: The Last Telegram (9:02pm April 25, 2013):

Marvelous memories on which to base one\'s book!
I look forward to reading a book about such an
historically interesting time!

Re: Shadows And Strongholds (11:00pm March 22, 2013):

We took our children on the Mission Trail that includes
the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas when they were quite
young. I almost passed out in the Chapel area from the presence, sounds, and voices that I, but no one else,
experienced.

Re: Nickeled-And-Dimed To Death (10:43pm March 22, 2013):

Keep on writing! Give us all a second chance to
read your books! ounds great!!!

Re: The Wicked Wedding Of Miss Ellie Vyne (11:13pm January 18, 2013):

Sounds like a "wicked" good book!!

Re: Holiday in Crimson (1:44pm November 24, 2012):

My grandchildren's happy faces, watching the grands
sing "Happy Birthday" to Baby Jesus, seeing the con-
gregation enjoy the sing-along at Midnight Mass!

My heart fills and overflows with the joy of the season!

Re: Abigail And Mistletoe (10:03pm October 22, 2012):

Would love to have a copy of this book!
Thanks for the opportunity to win!

Re: Resurrection Express (8:56pm September 19, 2012):

Congratulations on your success! You pulled me right
into the story of your "ride" to Resurrection Express!
I've got to read this book!!

Re: The Bull Rider's Brother (11:58pm August 12, 2012):

I've never been in a fun house. I just have always
been what my sibs called a "fraidy cat." No way you
would find me in a spooky fun house! Looking forward
to reading about your cowboys!

Re: Into The Darkest Corner (10:22pm June 23, 2012):

No, I do not belong to a book club nor do I plan to
join one anytime soon. Having an author as a member
might be interesting, if one lived nearby and had the
time. Most authors seem to always be writing or working
the day job. LOL. Blog groups give me most information
about books and authors.

Re: Home For The Summer (1:17am June 5, 2012):

With our large family, big vacations were few. My
summer with an aunt when I was 8/9 was interrupted by
WWII, rather, my uncle leaving for the S. Pacific! Then
there was the week spent on the beach at Corpus Christi,
TX which resulted in a terrible sunburn. My favorite
summer activity was the weekly trips to the library with
each of us coming home with arms full of books! As for
coming back home, there was no such occurrence since I
never left! I've resided in Houston everyone of my 75
years.

Re: Texas Baby Sanctuary (12:01pm March 29, 2012):

Yee Haw! I'm a Texan born and bred who loves all things
Texan! You had me at "Texas Baby Sanctuary." Your book
seems to have all the necessary ingredients: a conflic-
ted lawman who is looking for his woman and her baby,
both in need of protection, in Texas. And it's part of
a series! Boy Howdy! I couldn't ask for much more!!!

Re: Vicki's Key (11:38pm March 28, 2012):

It's the lilt in the voice that calls to me! The hint
of laughter that can be heard even when the discussion
is most serious.

Re: Sanctuary Cove (11:23pm March 28, 2012):

I enjoy reading mature story lines but I also read
all "ages." I've been reading for some seventy years
(began at 5) and would love to read about someone
going to their 50th HS reunion. I chaired the com-
ittee which put on our 50th reunion & will be going
to our 58th in a few weeks. Life goes on and we are
still in the midst of it! BTW, great giveaway and
would love to read your book!

Re: The Earl's Mistaken Bride (11:48pm November 30, 2011):

I purchased Sandra's book earlier in the year and have read it. It's a wonderful story, I'm going to really miss her!

Re: The Norse King's Daughter (4:23pm September 29, 2011):

There is always a book for me to read, no matter
how many times I have read some of them! I currently
have 6 boxes I got from a relative, each holding at
least 50 books, all of them unread by me. Don't think
I'll be running out of reading material for a while!!

Re: A Gentleman Never Tells (12:17pm July 25, 2011):

I have run across a couple of books where the couple
pictured on the cover just do not match the ages and experience described in the story. It's usually the
male who looks so much younger than the female! Makes
it appear that there is a "cougar" in the story!

Re: Virgin (8:34pm June 16, 2011):

Great interview with lots of "interesting" information.
All I've ever wanted to know and was afraid to ask!!!
I'll be looking for a copy of my very own!!

Re: Breaking the Rules (4:07pm February 12, 2011):

Tawny, just checked out the drink I mentioned in my previous
note. It's a shooter called a "Buttery Nipple," made with
Bailey's Irish Cream and Butterscotch Schnapps.

Pat C.

Re: Breaking the Rules (4:01pm February 12, 2011):

My favorite drink is a Mimosa (champagne and orange juice.)
I've never ordered any of the drinks you listed, I just know
I'd blush and stammer all over the place! On another blog,
someone listed a drink that I think was called "Buttered
Nipples." Have no idea what was in it!

Re: Cowboys Never Cry (12:13pm December 30, 2010):

Cowboys have always been among my heroes. Could it be due
to the fact that Westerns were among my first "grown-up"
books? The book sounds great & I look forward to getting
my hot little hands on a copy!

Re: Sinful in Satin (11:29pm October 1, 2010):

In my dreams, I am myself most often but a time or two it was as if I saw things from someone else's point of view. In quite a few of my dreams, I am in a school setting that is either high school or college. I have had
two recurrent dreams, one often enough to fix it in my mind enough that I may write
a short story/novella based
on it.

Bee Season was made into a
Richard Gere film.

Re: Whisper Kiss (3:28pm August 20, 2010):

Love the title! I haven't read
a dragon book, yet. Yours could
be my first!

Re: Moonshine (7:24pm July 20, 2010):

Who else can you zing or who
can zing you, if not your best
pal or your sister?

Re: Fury Calls (3:18pm March 14, 2009):

Just a quick note to thank you
for inviting us to participate
in the week's activities!

Pat Cochran

Re: Fury Calls (7:18pm March 13, 2009):

I'm heee-re, a bit late, but
most definitely wishing you a
Happy Day 5!!!

Pat Cochran

Re: Fury Calls (2:53pm March 12, 2009):

I'm thinking of adopting your
idea of a week-long special celebration for my birthday!
This is such great fun! I know
my grandchildren would enjoy
such a gathering, they are
always up for a party! I want
to wish you a "Happy Day 4"
and many happy returns of the
day!

Pat Cochran

Re: Fury Calls (1:11pm March 11, 2009):

Hola, Caridad,

Happy Birthday Week!

How is the celebration going? I hope you are having a great day!

Pat Cochran

Re: Fury Calls (3:59pm March 10, 2009):

Hola, Caridad,

I'm just back from my doctor's
office and a stop at WalMart.
There are now only two copies
of Fury Calls left on the racks!

Pat Cochran

Re: Fury Calls (1:16pm March 9, 2009):

Hola, Caridad,

Birthdays are meant to be great celebrations, I hope you and your family have something really special planned for you!

PS I saw Fury Calls at Wal-
Mart when I shopped Sunday!
