February is the month of love and romance, so why not cozy up with a great
romance book to kick start a month of cupid.
Silhouette Desire offers a Valentine Theme book with Tycoon's Valentine Vendetta
by Yvonne
Lindsay. This book offers betrayal, love, affairs, vengeance, and an
unplanned pregnancy and romance to throw two families off track. Hunter’s
family had been betrayed by the Fontaines for as long as Hunter can remember.
Hunter is after the ultimate payback; now the only thing left in his master
plan is to lure Lily, daughter of the Fontaines, to his bed. Once he gets Lily
in his bed not only will she lose the trust of her family, but also Hunter is
hoping to learn the secrets of the family and find a way to destroy their
legacy and name. One thing Hunter and Lily didn’t plan was to fall in love and
for Lily to end up pregnant with his child.
Harlequin Intrigue offers a line of some of the most stimulating
romances. Set up with the
Agent by Lori L.
Harris will not fail with the stimulating, heart racing, and mouth-watering
romances. Mark, a tall, dark, sexy, and lethal man that makes teenagers blush
and grown women feel like a schoolgirl again, is sent to watch every inch of
Beth. Beth of course is not happy with the arrangement, but once she opens the
door to find Mark on the other side, can’t help but wonder just how seriously
he takes his job to watch every inch of her. And why didn’t she wear lipstick?
Silhouette Romantic Suspense is for all the women who love a dose of
mystery with their romance. Out of Uniform by Catherine Mann, Dee has either lost her memory or is hiding a very
dangerous and powerful secret, but how will Jacob know which is true? Months
before Dee and Jacob spent a very lustful night together and then he was sent
away on another assignment with the CIA. Now it’s his job to find Dee and bring
her in for questioning. Dee however doesn’t remember their night together and
doesn’t remember much of anything that happened in the past few months, but
she’s pregnant. Is this child Jacob’s or did she make affairs a habit? One
thing Jacob knows is someone is trying to get rid of Dee, but why? Jacob is now
on a mission of his own, to find out why Dee has lost her memory and how to get
it back. He wants to find out if this child belongs to him and why someone
wants Dee dead.
Harlequin Blaze offers two passion driven novels. Burning Up by Sarah Mayberry is a
saucy tale about an actor playing low-key for the next month and his very sexy,
personal chef, Sophie. Sophie is always up for a challenge and for the next
month her challenge will be Lucas. Will things begin to heat up in the kitchen?
Shameless by Tori Carrington. I have
read their books in the past and they’ve never disappointing. And Shameless is
no
exception. Nina isn’t the type of woman to have one-night of anonymous sex with
a stranger. But she learns the man might be one of two of her very sexy
business partners, but which one? She’s crazy about both men, but she’s not
sure which one she spent the night with. If she starts to dig could it ruin the
friendships between the three? What if she chooses the wrong guy and loses the
one that did rock her world?
Or if you just want a classic, simple, heart-touching romance, than I suggest
Her One and Only Valentine
by Trish Wylie,
from the Harlequin Romance Series. This novel is about a man, Kane, who
leaves behind the love of his life, Rhiannon, who has a precious gift from
Kane, his baby. Around Valentine’s Day, the annual ball approaches, and they
both are expected to attend. Will Kane marry the mother-to-be or continue to go
through life alone and empty? I hope this Valentine’s Day is the best for you
and you get all your heart desires.
And if Cupid hasn’t hit you with his arrow yet, let’s hope he doesn’t miss this
year. I hope you enjoyed my column. Please feel free to leave me any comments
and/or suggestions.
