I have been trying to find your other books after I bought one of your other books while ago and I found you here by accident Wow, I am glad. I loved your book and now and opportunity to win a book Great! I hope I can access your website or blog so I can see how far behind I am in your books I know that book was part of a trilogy or a series because it says ita an Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter Novel. I recently started reading vampire novels and received your book but I wanted to know if they have to be read in order or if they can be read in stand alone, I have the Harlequin. its wonderful and I want more!

I've been reading the Anita Blake series for years now... It's hard to believe this will be number twenty! Anita is like an old friend and I just can't wait to read what happens to her next. I sure wish I lived closer to Dallas so I could get in on the Q&A and get a signed copy of the newest installment of Anita's life story! I know it will be a huge success.

I am a huge fan of Laurell K Hamilton books. I have read all of the Anita Blake series, and have also fell in love with her Meredith Gentry series.
I am like Sonja, becausee anita is like an old friend because the books have been around forever and we have been following her life.
Sara-i think it is better if you do read them in order because you get to follow along with the story. you can read them not in order because if she talks about something and if you would have never read the previous books she does explain in brief detail of what happened. I would love the chance to go to "An evening with Laurell but dallas, texas is too far from martelle, iowa.

thanks for the great books recommendations and keep on giving us the great interviews.

I know you don't have to read the series in order but the way all the interactions build, the stresses and strengthening and how Anita progresses through all of her relationships.

I love to hear authors talk about the art of writing and how they plan a typical writing day. You know how to keep producing the wonders in your series.

Sorry to say I think vampires are overdone. I do love the Meredith Gentry series; it's in my top ten favorites!! Audio books are best, so I can multi-task. ;-D

Your targets sound so important and are enticing to grab hold of your books and get to the juicy parts of espionage and all the trouble that goes with it.

The Anita Blake series is not just about Vampires, its a whole world of paranomal creatures and groups. Nobody except Laurell K Hamilton writes paranormal books that are so exciting and captivating. She is the true QUEEN of Mixed-Genre writing. Heroine Anita Blake series is a book series involving mystery, romance, crime drama, paranormal, and its all carried out by an epically written heroine that is so real that you believe the Anita Blake books could be real instead of fiction. I have recommended the books to more than 200 people and every one of them has told me how much they love the series.
