Summer Reads are HOT in July!

Barnes & Noble

Tonya's Tidbits
Tonya Callihan keeps readers up-to-date with the best series romance books released by Harlequin and Silhouette.

This time of year also brings back NASCAR! Thankfully, Harlequin publishes NASCAR books year round. They didnít post February releases until the first week of February and they wonít mention March releases (if there are any) until the first week of March. Here are the two releases from February, and you can still get these online, until they are sold out.

Black Flags, White Lies by Jean Brashear is about widow Zoe Lane Hitchens facing her past. Zoe feel in love with NASCAR driver Will Branch ten years ago and became pregnant with his child. Instead of telling him he was going to be a father, she chose another man to spend her life with and to be a father to her child. The only thing Will is focused on is winning the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship, this was going to be his year. Then he learns that Zoeís husband has past away. Now Willís old feelings for Zoe are back to the surface and when he learns he has a son, he has fears of his own. Could he give up his dream to be a father to his son? And to give Zoe the life she deserves?

Now onto March 2009 Releases:

Silhouette Desire

Jennifer Lewis offers another great read this month, In the Argentineís Bed. Susannah had one mission: get a DNA sample from Amado Alvarez to determine if he were a millionaireís long-lost son. Amado has one condition: he will give Susannah a DNA sample, but she must spend one night making love with him. She does-but only to get the sample, not because heís attractive or anything such as that. Now months after there one memorable night she must face Amado again. Harlequin Blaze

Always Ready by Joanne Rock. Damon Craig, coast-guard lieutenant, who is in charge of arresting drug smugglers, has come across sexy Lacey Sutherland. Could she really be smuggling drugs? If so, could he really arrest her after the way she looks at him?

Harlequin Intrigue

Snowed in with the Boss by Jessica Andersen. Really who doesnít love stranded with a sexy man romances? These are one of my top reads. So many possibilities can happen when two single, attractive people are together, and when danger lurks just outside the windows. Griffin knew the moment he saw Sophie she was trouble, yet he still hired her, for reasons beyond him. Now they are stranded together, alone. Well, alone except for the shadow watching the pair in Griffinís mansion in Colorado.

Harlequin Presents

Melanie Milburne has truly written a masterpiece with The Fiorenza Forced Marriage. Emma March had only been doing her job. She had been caring for Valentino Fiorenza until his death. Now his will offers her the financial freedom she needs-the catch-she must marry his son Rafaele. Rafaele thinks Emma is only a gold digging harlot, so he weds her and beds her only to learn she is a virgin. Now where will that leave him and their relationship?

Harlequin Fun Fact:

In 2006 Nocturne series launched in October with Unforgiven by Lindsay McKenna.

The Spotlight Series for March is Silhouette Romantic Suspense on March 31. Couples escape the curse of a legendary diamond ring, and fall in Love in 60 Seconds! Check the series out!
