I enjoy both types of books. Connected books just need to set the stage just in case I don't start at the begining I will still feel I haven't missed a large part of the story.
Re: True Highland Spirit (11:53pm March 30, 2012):
I like heroines and heroes to have foibles. Some way to make them feel real to the reader, and a way for us to better relate to them.
Re: A Light On The Veranda (11:49pm March 30, 2012):
The setting in a book helps the reader to build a better understanding of character. Is it character, no, it is a part of the characters.
Re: Dire Threads (3:08pm October 23, 2011):
My grandmother. She cooked, baked, sewed, crocheted, knitted, needle pointed and painted. For what ever reason my mother had no desired to any of these, but my grandmother took the time to be sure my sister and I had the opportunity to learn if we wanted. I love to cook and needle point and my sister bakes because of her.

Re: Wicked Seduction (2:07pm March 2, 2011):
I believe what we ourselves think is crazy is just part of what makes us unique; to have a creative side that allows you to place your ideas on paper is just a part of that uniqueness.

Re: Immortal Champion (11:48am January 28, 2011):
Romance novels take you back to those feelings in your youth about fairy tale love; before you fall in love and every day life becomes a part of love (still good love, but no the same). Undying love, love that has no boundaries, love that will come to you no matter what life throws your way.
Re: Double Cross (11:00pm December 22, 2010):
I agree losers have more intriging stories to tell than winners. Justine in your book sounds just like that. Can't wait to read it.
Re: Desperate Deeds (10:22pm September 8, 2010):

Re: Royal Blood (12:48pm September 4, 2010):
