Summer of Reading Wildly

Last summer I had a full time job that I worked 50 hours a week at, several vacations that I had to plan and prepare for, my friend's birthday, moving into a new house, helping my friend move into a new house, helping my boyfriend move and somewhere in there I had a couple books I wanted to read.

This summer--well I have a part time job, one vacation, no birthdays and no one to help move! I'm excited because that means I can read. Read and read and read and read. That's right this is my Summer of Reading Wildly!

Some of the books I have planned to read are:
Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson (oh epic fantasy!)
Desperate Duchesses series by Eloisa James
Brides of Fortune series by Nicola Cornick
Blue Moon by Alyson Noel
Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs
Fire by Kristin Cashore
The Actor and the Housewife by Shannon Hale
All of Deanne Gist's novels!

Catch up on the 40 or so 'classic' Regency romances I have..

Pretty much I have plans to read as much, as often as possible. And my sister needs help with her summer reading--Pride and Prejudice! So that means I should bust out the Colin Firth right? Or do you think that Matthew MacFayden played him better? Personally I really liked Bride and Prejudice, the Bollywood rendition...and really I should lend her my copy of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies! Oh and let's not forget the forthcoming Mr. Darcy, Vampyre! Honestly I can make a week of this...

Re: Summer of Reading Wildly

I don't have much time to read since I do work full time and when I get the chance I stay with genres that I enjoy: paranormals and romantic suspense; I very rarely read classics and or spoofs of classics

A Summer of reading wildly! I love that! That's what summer is for!
