1--What is the title of your latest release?
WEDDING DASHERS
2--What’s the “elevator pitch” for your new book?
After a case of mistaken identity and almost one-night stand, two stranded wedding guests have to find their way to their final destination together
3--How did you decide where your book was going to take place?
I spent a year living in the UK while in grad school and spent a lot of time traveling around, so I knew I could do a travel themed romcom set in the UK justice
4--Would you hang out with your protagonist in real life?
For sure! Ada seems like a fun gal if I do say so myself. We have the same sense of humor AND the same taste in men, so I’m sure we’d have fun talking about book boyfriends and where we want to travel next.
5--What are three words that describe your protagonist?
Spunky, reliable, caring
6--What’s something you learned while writing this book?
I think the most valuable lesson I learned while writing this book was that I can write a book, and because I did it once, I can do it again. That to me was a massively important takeaway.
7--Do you edit as you draft or wait until you are totally done?
Both? When I’m drafting, I’m mostly just in a race to get to the end, but sometimes I’ll get stuck which is usually because something isn’t working, or I don’t know enough about the story/characters to proceed forward. When this happens, I’ll go back and edit from the top until I find my way again.
8--What’s your favorite foodie indulgence?
hmmmmmm so hard to pick one! Probably donuts!
9--Describe your writing space/office!
I usually rotate between a few spots. On the floor next to my space heater. At a desk next to my bookshelf. Or in bed (I never tire of saying “I do my best work in bed”). But no matter where I’m at, I HAVE to have a mug of green tea and endless refills.
10--Who is an author you admire?
Can I say a few? There are so many debut authors being published in 2025 whose work I admire so so much. Amy Buchanan writes the most delicious, toe-curling spice that’s also so much more than spice. Katie Naymon writes will-they-won’t-they tension and fraught encounters like no one else. London Sperry brilliantly balances a fresh, funny voice with deep, nuanced portrayals of grief and mental health.
11--Is there a book that changed your life?
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. I read this in high school and have simply never forgot the way it made me feel. It was the first book to ever make me swoon and give me butterflies. It was also the first book that made me want to write romance.
12--Tell us about when you got “the call.” (when you found out your book was going to be published)/Or, for indie authors, when you decided to self-publish.
I was at work when I saw my agent’s name come up on my caller ID and I remember my heart stopped. I knew that was it. She was going to tell me we had an offer.
13--What’s your favorite genre to read?
romance!
14--What’s your favorite movie?
Either The Parent Trap or Anastasia (the animated movie)
15--What is your favorite season?
I like winter because the cold weather gives me permission to stay home and be cozy
16--How do you like to celebrate your birthday?
I love being on a trip for my birthday. One of my most favorite birthday memories is going to Disneyland for my twenty-first.
17--What’s a recent tv show/movie/book/podcast you highly recommend?
A Love Like the Sun by Riss M. Neilson
18--What’s your favorite type of cuisine?
Mexican/ Tex-mex
19--What do you do when you have free time?
okay this is gonna sound lame but write. If I have free time that’s always how I want to spend it, with my characters.
20--What can readers expect from you next?
I don’t think I can talk about it in full yet, but readers can expect another travel romance that explores some heavier topics

After a case of mistaken identity and an almost one-night stand, two stranded wedding guests have to find their way to their final destination together, in this riotously fun debut romance.
Ada’s little sister is getting married. Which should be a happy thought, right? But the once close sisters have been in a year long fight, the wedding is all the way in Ireland, and Ada is so broke that she just barely managed to get a ticket on a budget airline. And as if things couldn’t get worse, said airline just cancelled her connection. Which means Ada is stuck in London with no way to make it to the wedding.
Surely she’s hit rock bottom?
So, there’s no reason for her not to spill her heart out about the over-the-top wedding, her sister’s worryingly quick engagement, and the womanizing best man she’s dreading meeting to a handsome also-stranded stranger at the bar. Until she realizes the stranger is headed to the same wedding. Oh, and he’s the infamous best man.
Now, Jack and Ada must put their simmering attraction behind them to make it to Belfast before they miss the nuptials. But between flat tires, missed trains, and suspect hostels, Jack and Ada start to question whether their feelings are worth going the distance, or just a distracting detour along the way.
