The older I get, the more I realize that those changes keep coming. Sometimes they bring joy. Sometimes they bring sorrow. Sometimes, it’s a little of both. Part of why I started Fierce Beyond 50 was to create a community for us to not only embrace those changes together—the good, the bad and the ugly.

This past month, we explored some of the harder changes in life, a few strategies for combating brain fog and mental fatigue, and the importance of taking on new challenges that scare us a little bit.

HOW ONE WIDOW’S RITUALS HELPED HER NAVIGATE THE STAGES OF GRIEF AND HEALING PROCESS

I consider myself a pro at this, having moved more than 20 times during my marriage. Here's what I've learned.

HOW TO IMPROVE MEMORY AND BOOST YOUR BRAIN AFTER FIFTY, ACCORDING TO SCIENCE

There are lots of fun ways to boost your brain after fifty that don't involve magic, including ballroom dancing and reading! Not that I needed an excuse to buy ball gowns, sparkly shoes, and more books. Here are some proven mind-sharpening tips according to science.

WHAT TO EAT FOR BRAIN FOG, GUT HEALTH, AND MENTAL SHARPNESS OVER FIFTY

Having trouble focusing? Is your memory not what it used to be? Is it impossible to stay organized? It might be a sign of aging, but it might be brain fog! Here's how changes in your diet can help improve brain function according to a dietitian. Because fog is only charming in the English countryside with Mr. Darcy.

Join Marie Bostwick at Fierce Beyond Fifty, a lifestyle blog for women who are ready to seize and celebrate their maturity and create lives of significance, empowerment, and joy.
