March has arrived and the spring is almost here. I've included some of the
hottest releases from Harlequin and Silhouette that will help jumpstart the
feeling of warm weather and make you forget about the snow covering your yard.
Let's take an adventure from Georgia to Vegas to the past. Let's escape the
bitter cold with these new releases.
Ann Defee is one of my
new favorite authors. I discovered her last fall when I read Summer after
Summer. And I recently recommended The Perfect Tree that includes stories from Ann and Roz Denny Fox and Tanya Michaels.
Her new novel from Harlequin American Romance line, Goin' Down to Georgia is
set in Magnolia Bluffs, Georgia. Zack is a detective from California, who
decides to return to Magnolia Bluffs to investigate what's been going on with
his family's real estate development. Liza Henderson, who is not only a widow
and someone he will have to deal with on a daily basis, she's a true southern
lady. Can she help him crack open the case and solve the mystery?
From Harlequin Intrigue we have Mysterious Millionaire by Cassie Miles. Liz Norton
is a part time private investigator; her new job involves her going undercover
as a housekeeper. Now she has a dead body and angry relatives pointing blame on
each other. The only person she can turn to for help is Ben Crawford, a single
dad who is in a war of his own, he's fighting to keep custody of his daughter.
Harlequin Blaze offers quite a selection this month. From author
Wendy Etherington's What Happened in
Vegas...is about Gideon Nash remembering his steamiest memory, which
happened in Vegas with Jacinda Barrett. Unfortunately, she wants to keep this
particular memory a secret and hopes it never happens again. But now they're
both in Vegas and neither can resist temptation that is until Jacinda learns
Gideon has a secret of his own!
Kathleen
O'Reilly also
has a new release this month
Shaken and Stirred. Tessa Hart is a student and part-time
bartender. She has been living in a cramped up apartment until now, now she's
out on her own, that is until Gabe O'Sullivan comes to her
rescue. Tessa realizes Gabe is a babe magnet and any other woman would be more
than
happy to share his apartment, let alone his bed. Tessa only wants to remain
friends; he is her boss and mentor. To sleep with him would only complicate
matters.
Catherine Milford has had the delight of her life-meeting Andrew, Earl of
Gifford. He's sexy and charming. But will she be forced to become his bride or
go willingly? You can find out in Harlequin Historicals new release by Anne Herries The Lord's Forced
Bride.
From Silhouette Desire I've included these two releases. Mistress & A Million
Dollars by Maxine
Sullivan. Briana Davenport was used to fighting off temptations. She was a
professional model. But Jarrod Hammond--her employer's enemy -- made it harder
and
harder to refuse such temptations. All she wants was one night with him. But
now how could she walk away as his mistress of one night, with all that he
could offer her?
CEO'S Marriage
Seduction by Anna
DePalo. Griffin Slatter wanted his boss's daughter, Eva Tremont. And he had
made love to her too many times to count, at least in his mind. But now all
bets were off, now he is ready to seduce Eva into marriage. All of her life Eva
had dreamed of becoming a mother and her Griffin stood before her offering to
make all of her dreams into a reality.
Beast of Desire by Lisa Renee Jones, from
Silhouette Nocturne is about Des and Jessica. Des is walking a thin line
between man and beast. He's known as the leader of the Knights of White, who
have been in war with Good and Evil. Jessica Montgomery is pure woman; she can
bring out the beast in Des then turn around and soothe the man in him. She's an
addiction to him and brings danger to them both. Can Jessica be his salvation
or will Des destroy them both?
I hope these releases warm you up. Please leave comments, questions, and
suggestions. And check back next month for April releases.
