Ann DeFee
Like any good Gemini I have multiple identities. I’m a wife (my longest running gig), a mom (a close second), and now I’m Grammerly/Nene to four delightful kids.
I grew up in a small south Texas town – home of lip-smackin’ barbecue and the world’s biggest pecan. My prince charming and I met in college and before long we embarked on our great adventure. With two kids and a menagerie of four-legged friends we made a home in eighteen towns, seven states and on two continents – courtesy of the U.S. Air Force.
Fast forward to today. My debut novel, A Texas State of Mind (Harlequin American Romance) was a double 2006 RITA finalist. Since that time I’ve published or contracted seven additional books for Harlequin, including my March book, Goin’ Down to Georgia. I love taking my readers into the sassy and sometimes wacky world of a small southern community.
When I’m not writing you can probably find me on the tennis court or at the park
