Catherine Spangler's SPECIAL APPEARANCES and NEWS

This month I'll be at two great venues for writers and readers. If you're in the Dallas area, I hope you'll try to come and that you'll look for me. Both events are connected to the Romance Writers of America national conference in Dallas, and are:

What: Romance Writers of America "Readers for Life" Literacy Book Signing. Over 300 authors will be signing their most current books, and all proceeds go to literacy. This event is free and open to the general public.

What: DFW Tea Romance Authors Dessert Reception. Join the DFW (Dallas/Ft. Worth) Tea readers (and me!) and spend an enjoyable afternoon with over 25 famous romance authors at their dessert reception. You can go to DFWtea.com for more information.

NEWS

I'm blogging again! I've dusted off and revamped my blog, and you can view it (kind of like at a funeral home, huh?) at: catherinespangler.blogspot.com. I would love to hear comments or suggestions about anything you'd like me to blog about. Or answer questions about writing, metaphysics, whatever. Feel free to email me at [email protected] and let me know what you'd like to discuss.

TOUCHED BY FIRE is coming! October 2 isn't that far away, and I'm getting excited. I'm also very pleased that there's a teaser for the next book, TOUCHED BY LIGHT, at the end of TBF. I've never had a lead-in teaser before.

I'm going online to spread the word about the Sentinel Series. I'm now with Fresh Fiction, a great site for both readers and writers to get the latest news, check out lots of books and contests, and just have fun.

I'm also expanding my horizons and going out on MySpace, Bebo, and Facebook. Since I'm still learning about all this stuff, I like to think of myself as boldly going where I've never gone before Hopefully, I'll have links to my sites next month.

PENDANTS

Sentinel pendants are now available! Artist Joy Marie Ledet is busy taking orders for the pendants, which are individually created and hand wire wrapped, so each one is unique.
