Make Cinnamon-Sugar Pecans for Your Valentine!

A Sweet Treat for Someone You Love!

Here's an easy recipe for a very tasty Valentine's Day treat ~ Cinnamon-Sugar Pecans

You'll need these ingredients:

  • 1 pound pecan halves
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

The directions are simple:

Preheat your oven to 250 degrees F (or 120 C). Coat a cookie sheet with nonstick spray. In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg white with the water until it's frothy. In another bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon, then set it aside. Add the pecans to the egg white bowl and stir until the nuts are covered. Now add the sugar and cinnamon to the bowl and mix together until the pecans are completely coated. Spread the sugary pecans evenly onto the cookie sheet and roast them in the oven at 250 F for about an hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Enjoy!

Note: These taste especially wonderful when they're warm :).

Happy Valentine's Day!
