A "Snack" for Reading

I enjoy baking every now and then, maybe make something every week or two. A
personal favorite would have to be Fudge No Bake Cookies that are a sure fire
winner anywhere I take them. I found the recipe once and have loved it since

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
1/2 Peanut Butter (I like to use crunchy to add a lil' something)
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups quick-cooking oats

In a sauce pan, bring the sugar, cocoa, milk and butter to a boil.
After it boils for a minute, take it off the heat and add the peanut butter.
Then slowly add in the oatmeal.

Line a cookie sheet with wax paper, drop small balls on and then pop them in th
fridge.
Trust me, it's an easy recipe that has people craving for more. Best when given
time to cool off first though.

These cookies can be made smaller for a shame-free book popping snack.
The books these cookies will be eaten with this summer is
Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan
Books 5-7 in Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld series
Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick
The final two books in the Sookie Stackhouse series

I enjoy browsing so this list may indeed get longer when the end of the summer
has arrived.
