Strawberry Pizza

Don't miss Lynne Marshall's favorite summer recipe: Strawberry Pizza!

Easy to make and delicious to eat.

Crust:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cubes butter or margerine softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Mix or blend together and press on a large cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool to room temperature. Filling:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese.
  • Mix together and fold in 8 ounces of Cool Whip (okay to use Fat Free Cool Whip
and 1/3 less fat cream cheese) and spread on room temperature crust.

    Topping:
    • 2 boxes fresh strawberries sliced
    • 1 jar strawberry glaze from market
    OR Make your own GLAZE:
    • 1/2 c. sugar
    • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
    • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
    • 1/2 c. pineapple juice
Boil the ingredients for one minute. Spoon over fruit

Mix strawberries and glaze together and spread over filling on crust.

Chill four hours, slice and serve!
