Series Romances in November
Tonya Callihan November 1, 2008
November is definitely a great month to head over to www.eharlequin.com to
purchase books from your favorite lines. Whether you purchase a book from your
favorite author or a new author, I assure you, you won’t be disappointed.
Stephanie Bond and Jude Gregoire at M&M 2008
Harlequin Blaze is one of the steamiest lines that Harlequin
offers. I remember
reading my mom’s Harlequin books but today the books from this line are ten times
more sexual and yet the stories center around romance and happily ever afters,
which all us
women love. IN A BIND
by Stephanie Bond is
just one of her three books in her Sex for Beginners series. All three books
focus on hard-working women, who have their own desires and sexual fantasies. In
this particular book, Zoe becomes very curious about bondage, it’s been
something of interest to her, but she’s never experienced it until now.
If you like a more tame story check out any of six books released under the
Harlequin Romance line. These are stories of finding
your true love and making it last. RESCUED BY THE MAGIC OF
CHRISTMAS by Melissa McClone is not
only a book that will make you sigh, make your heart race, but a book that will
fill your life with romance. RESCUED BY THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS will definitely
get you in the mood for
the upcoming holiday season. So follow Carly on her journey, she hasn’t
celebrated Christmas in six years, not since her fiancé was killed. Now that
Jake has come into her life can he show her the magic of Christmas once again?
One of the first romance books that I ever read came from Harlequin Presents
line. It is a line of books that I push onto any daydreamer and romance
reader. These are stories of unexpected love. A shy girl goes off to
London or Italy seeking a little adventure in her life. Then comes along a
stranger that will change her world forever. It’s always a story that is
emotionally driven, filled with love, laughter, and tears. But in the end the
happily ever after comes true and a baby will be arriving shortly, if he isn’t
already here.
HIS MAJESTY'S MISTRESS
by Robyn Donald is a
prime example of the love stories Presents has to offer. Giselle sleeps with
the unknown playboy prince Roman, once she finds out who he is, she plans on
having an affair of her own, but she just can’t resist Roman. And Roman is
bound and determined to make her his Royal bride.
I was so excited to learn of Nascar and Harlequin teaming up together. Nascar
is one of my favorite sports (go Dale JR!). I’ve bought over 20 of these books
and if you notice on the site I’m not the only one collecting them, more than
half of the books are sold out. RISKY MOVES by Gina Wilkins is the book I’m most excited about in November. It’s
about two people who have too much pressure in their lives from work and
personal life. Neither of them is looking for romance or love, but they find it
with each other. Now the only question is if they will do anything about it?
I recently started reading from Silhouette Nocturne line. I never thought I
would get into books about vampires or werewolves. But I love these books. They
are the ultimate romance. What better story than two people, from two different
worlds, who beat all of the odds to be together? ENEMY LOVER by Bonnie Vanak is a story
about a woman after revenge for her brother, but is claimed by the enemy.
Just a quick note: Harlequin and Silhouette offer Ebooks as well as print
books. They have a couple of lines that only publish in Ebooks now, Historical
Undone, Nocturne Bites, and Spice Briefs. You can also check out other lines
offered at www.eharlequin.com such as Mira, HQN, and Kimani Press.
Please leave any comments, questions, or suggestions that you may have and tune
in later this month for more exciting releases from your favorite romance
publisher.
Happy Reading,
Tonya
