Tuesday Valentines

My hubby who works many hours and days, always has Tuesdays off. We made this out 'date' day soon going on 25 years. What happened was that with so much happening with us both working, the children growing up, that when my health started to get complicated, and the empty ness was happening here, we needed to set aside a day for ourselves. How many times when people are married over years often forget to take that time out for themselves. Thats how Tuesday Valentines happened for us. Each Tuesday we do something special, either it being a walk in the mall with lunch, sitting cuddled on the couch with a movie, having a slow dance to memories, we make sure that date happens no matter what each week. We so look forward to it and know our love is there always everyday, but taking time to do something special on certain celebrations is fun, but to make it a weekly celebration, its even more exciting.
