Vanilla Roses

You know how nowadays a dozen red roses don't have much of a scent. I think perhaps this is because they are so mass produced. My first Valentine's Day with my husband he sent a dozen red roses to my office that smelled like vanilla. I loved those roses and funny that now when I think of roses I think of those that smelled like vanilla. My eye was fed, my sweet tooth was taken care of and my love was sealed, within those twelve roses.

Re: Vanilla Roses

I've never smelled vanilla roses. You
are right, most roses available have no
scent. It is too bad, there are so many
wonderful varieties out there that do
smell wonderful. Have a wonderful
Valentine's Day.
