Instead of trying to find your perfect match in a dating app, we bring you the “Author-Reader Match" where we introduce you to authors you may fall in love with. It's our great pleasure to present Virginie Marconato!
Writes:
Medieval Romance, focusing on the period from the 11th to the 15th century. SEDUCING THE WARRIOR is the final book in my Noble Norsemen series. My next will be about Welsh Rebels.
I also write spicier novels and even spicier Regency novellas under the name Judith Falcon. Feel free to check them out of a scorching read.
About:
I’m a mum of two. I’m French and married to a Welshman. What better to indulge in my love for medieval castles and find inspiration on the very places my stories take place? The place is teeming with them. I love reading, with an obvious preference for romance of all genres, cooking (and eating!) travelling, practicing calligraphy, and anything to do with horses.
What I’m looking for in my ideal reader match:
My ideal reader would be someone like me, fascinated by all things Middle-Ages or even a Regency reader in search for something different. They will prefer cinnamon roll heroes with personality and heroines who are their match in every way, open door sex scenes and no more than a smattering of historical details.
With my books you will get:
- Heroes and heroines from different cultures/languages
- Great banter
- Great sex
- A fresh approach to well-love tropes
- Characters you can relate to
- A couple-focused romance
- Satisfying epilogues leading to the HEA
I can’t wait for you to dig in and tell me what you think!
Merci,
Virginie Marconato
The Noble Norsemen #6
England, 1066.
Friends to lovers in the middle of battle.
Both of mixed Saxon and Norse decent, Eyja and Moon have known each other all their lives. When invaders threaten the country of their mothers, they decide to go and fight. Away from the village, unsettling feelings start to emerge and they begin seeing each other in a different light. Between the reckless imp and the protective warrior, sparks soon start to fly.
How will they deal with the unexpected change? Can things ever be the same when they return to the village—assuming they survive the battle?
Historical [Oliver-Heber Books, On Sale: September 10, 2024, e-Book, / ]
Virginie thinks she became a writer the day she decided to write a (very bad, shamefully close to the real story) version of White Fang when aged nine or ten! As for the Middle Ages she fell in love with it at school during a history lesson, then Kevin Costner’s Robin Hood put its final seal on it all. A girl of twelve then, Virginie never recovered!
