Re: Needing Her (1:52pm December 28, 2013):

A prank is only funny when no one is truly physically or
mentally abuse. Some times love will find a way!I'd love to
read your book-no joke!

Re: Emeralds of the Alhambra (3:19pm July 15, 2013):

This a fascinating and little-known era in History. So few
people recall that at one time, we did not all live in a
stressful and and distrusting time in the world. The Muslim
information is particularly interesting to non-practitioners.

Re: The Ark (9:30pm July 29, 2010):

My older sisiter and I frequently speculate on world conditions and poltics-many times we have shaken our heads and agreed things were 'stranger than fiction'

Re: Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy (11:07am January 12, 2010):

WoW! You are like a human whirlwind...you are my new hero! lol

Re: Wild Blue Under (2:47pm November 9, 2009):

I love the bit about Valerie being allergic to sea water and the challenge she faces. I do not like scheming conniving, untrustworthy birds either!

Re: Captive Desires (10:46am November 3, 2009):

First, congratulations on your new release-much success! I, myself, possess only a love and appreciation for 'artistic' people, they dazzle me with their skill, creativity, energy and the ability to have gravity-defying clothing remain in tact...and still I envy them!

Re: My Wicked Vampire (6:54pm October 20, 2009):

I love to read any novel with a 'humorous interval'-these are the struly strange happening that make life fascinatin

Re: Highland Rebel (3:44pm September 3, 2009):

I occaisionally feel that 'buzz' when mowing the lawan-something so pleasurable to me,it can be done without thought!

Re: The Treasures Of Venice (8:45am August 29, 2009):

I agree that those 'personal' anniversaries may mean so much to us; I met and fell in love with-at first sight-my Old Boy-my husband ,friend, lover on my 16 birthday across the proverbially 'crowded' room. So in addition to my birthday the Old Boy and I have a 'personal anniversary' on that day.

Re: Feels Like The First Time (4:26pm August 26, 2009):

If truth be known, I have a wild streak of June Cleaver in me;pearls, apron and heels!

Re: Tortured (12:11pm August 18, 2009):

After reading the synopsis, how could I NOT want a copy?Sounds like a great read

Re: Babydoll (5:08pm August 4, 2009):

Ms Allyson,I do believe you're heading for Sainthood-my Old Boy (husband) and I cannot write a thank you note together!

Re: Seduce Me (6:04pm July 29, 2009):

hmm, quite interesting formula (of sorts). I shall indeed make a mental note of this sage advice.btw love your books!

Re: Waking Nightmare (12:17pm July 22, 2009):

Seems all creative individuals are subject to 'running ino the wall'.Hope your experience is over quickly-thanks so much for your stories.

Re: Jump (4:42pm June 18, 2009):

I believe an emotioal attachment-wether negative or positive is essential to a good mystery. Sometimes its a small victory to let the bad guy get his. The solution then becomes the story. I am quite impressed that you have been compared to the indonitable Agatha Christie and would love to read "Jump".

Re: Dead And Gone (1:16pm May 9, 2009):

I also associate voices with certain works; Alexander Scoursby for The National Geographic, Edward Hermann for the History channel, Mr. Scoursby has passed but I fondly recall him 'leading through the darkest part of Africa' in narration. I
appreciated a distinguished voice commenting on some of televisions best offerings.

Re: With a Twist (4:47am May 9, 2009):

Patience is over-rated! After reading the excerpt, I want that book Now!

Re: Red Kiss (4:52pm May 7, 2009):

WOW! publishing is complicated! I would love to read 'Butterfly Tattoo',sounds very interesting

Re: Under Her Skin (4:47pm May 6, 2009):

This just fabulous-I have always longed for a "high Tea",looks lovely (sigh)

Re: Bunco Babes Tell All (4:46pm May 6, 2009):

Hmmm, seems I remember this term as a police code for gambling and wild times.....yup,I'm in!

Re: The Secret Mistress Arrangement (4:18pm April 22, 2009):

Silent strength:you just KNOW this guy is going to get out of any trouble...

Re: The Heir's Scandalous Affair (5:02pm April 14, 2009):

I am always interested in whether the characters have enough dimension to bear series

Re: 4 Bodies And A Funeral (5:54am April 9, 2009):

I am just wondering: Did they teach you gum-popping, wisecracking "Mug" speak? You know: I'm gonna blast ya if you don't throw down that rod, she's a hot Mama-all that cool retro-speak.

Re: Would-Be Witch (4:03pm March 16, 2009):

I would be with Good King Hal at Agincourt.

Re: Intimate Beings (4:59pm March 12, 2009):

Jessica: last year I was at my sisters bedside when she passsed. It is very difficult to see that in writing....
The stories we shared and the love and laughter she gave to me is my story-beyond words.

Re: 4 Bodies And A Funeral (6:17pm March 10, 2009):

Yes; an unmarked police car attempted to pull me over in a dark, rural are-I was afraid and drove to the next well-lit area.Even as I was driving,I told myself I would not allow anyone to take me "elsewhere"(i.e yhe 'second scene') and would fight and collect DNA if I was attacked-hair,blood, skin.
Fortunately, the officer understood my initial reluctance ('tho 3 cop cars met us.
I WILL not be a victim,I know ANYthing goes if being attacked.

Re: Summer On Blossom Street (3:20pm March 8, 2009):

I would like rather to be in a true historical setting-perhaps Florence during the Ranaissance, I of course, would be Catherine D'Medici with all the attendant splendor and intrigue.

Re: Book of Sudoku (6:24am March 7, 2009):

I swear I did not mean to but my grandson (3) got hold of a crayon and a library book and you can imagine the result and yes indeed I felt like a criminal for letting that happen....it wasn't even a GOOD book!

Re: Scandal (6:19am March 7, 2009):

I am generally a reader of non-fiction but appreciate a historical romance occaisionally. I find the stories put a face on the time setting and and if accurate, gives a good sense of the life and daily habits of the characters. If written very well,a historic romance bears quite alot of information concerning the era. I appreciate the efforts of the author researching the history of their settings and social conditions,it serves to strengthen the story and may easily be used as a plot device. The author becomes a semi-socio-historian, no mean feat!
Vampires, werewolves, etc., are fun to read about, everyone loves that chill of fright, but as stated they are not real (yes,Iam sure)and are purely escapist-not a bad thing just not my thing!
My favorite historical romance is an older book I have had for 20+ years becuse it is one of my all-time favorites: "Fortune Made His Sword" by Martha Rofheart.
Very interesting topic, thank you, Ms. Jewel.

Re: Safe By His Side (9:10pm March 5, 2009):

I love to hate my cell phone-I have used it in numerous perilous situations and emergencies but I just don't want to speak on the darn thing.
My secret literary addiction? Erotic literature kept in my underwer drawer

Re: The Better To Hold You (1:18pm March 3, 2009):

This sounds fascinating; I had never linked romance and graphic novels, sounds like a new exciting genre for both 'sci-fi and romantics' alike.

Re: The C.O.O. Must Marry (3:05pm February 27, 2009):

I am ON my Long Journey and it is seemingly endless....

Re: The Concubine (4:51pm February 14, 2009):

Happy VD everybody! Not exactly what I meant but enjoy your love today...thanks for the contest, Ms. Lee. Loved the Concubine synopsis, now on my List of must-reads.

Re: Bluegrass Courtship (11:52am February 12, 2009):

I love the plain-jane heroine;not everyone wants to be a blouse-busting babe!

Re: A Lie For A Lie (4:56pm February 6, 2009):

While it is true some people need to be killed ,it always entertaining HOW an author kills...

Re: Whisper of Warning (4:48pm January 24, 2009):

OMG! I'm doing it..I AM BLOGGING.....and it feels good
Thank you Sara and Sandi for the strength of character, my Heroes!

Re: Dawnkeepers (12:59pm January 23, 2009):

Sounds great, I'll look for it at the bookstore(I never win!)

Re: Men Of The Otherworld (4:19pm January 22, 2009):

"Men of The Otherworld"...sounds promising!

Re: Obama (12:19pm January 19, 2009):

I read biographies and most non-fiction(I give into romances for a change) and I find it interesting the different highlights of a person's life are different from another author's perpective. I have read three different books about Mr. Woodrow Wilson and each had a unique viewpoint concerning the man and President.

Re: Every Breath You Take... (5:16pm January 12, 2009):

My one-that-got-away never made it far....we were married 10 years after our first date!

Re: The Quest (12:11pm January 6, 2009):

I am also quite interested in the publishing process of a book, thanks for informing me! BTW LOVE your books and intrigued by your new title, thank you!

Re: The Druid Made Me Do It (12:14pm August 19, 2008):

If I know a Druid who looked like the man(!) on the cover-I'd do it too!
