Inspirational Romance

The celebrity host of TV's Missionnovation, Drew Downing is comfortable with his fame. He's become accustomed to the cheering, starstruck townfolk that usually welcome him as he renovates churches countrywide. Usually. Then he and his crew set up in tiny Middleburg, Kentucky, to rebuild the church's storm-damaged preschool. The very lovely, very no-nonsense hardware store owner Janet Bishop is suspicious of Drew's true motives. It looks like Janet Bishop's faith—in God, in herself and in love—needs some serious rebuilding. And Drew Downing is just the man for the job.

Allie, this sounds like a wonderful story!

I love that show and what a great idea for a book.

This sounds like a fun time - I know she'll win!!

Anyone who can survive a major
renovation unscathed is doing well.
Our Victorian farm house that we
bought in 1992 needed a lot of work -
as in rip everything out and start over.
It really was/is a nice house, but it
hadn't been taken care of and had had
had a bad remodeling effort started.
That did more damage than 100 years.
We're still working on it and my
husband and I are still talking to each
other. We're almost done (have been
saying that for years!) We still love
and other and even love the house.

I love the plain-jane heroine;not everyone wants to be a blouse-busting babe!

What a wonderful storyline. What's not to love about Ty Pennington. Can't wait to get this book! Thanks for the contest.

Sounds great! I really enjoy "plain Jane" stories. Not everbody can be beautiful! But the best ones are beautiful inside!

Hi Allie, congrats on your latest book. It's so neat hearing where you get your story ideas from!

I love plain-Jane heroines. It's more realistic to see a heroine who doesn't fit any molds and is comfortable in her own skin.
