Wild w/end

It happened when my 3 kidlets were very small & my d/h was working away from home. I was at my wits end with no help & chauffering kidlets here, there & everywhere while working - was not a happy camper. Suddenly Valentine's was upon us & I totally forgot - me who usually operates & commands the social calendar & the main events in the family! Rec'd a call from one of my best friends suggesting she have the kids over for a sleep over to give me a rest. I quickly agreed. Later, just relaxing with a glass of wine, the phone rings & it was another friend saying to meet her at our local instead. Fine, no problem, got ready & went only to discover - the local was empty except for my d/h who had organized the whole evening - dinner, roses, drinks & the rest can be left up to your imagination..Had taken a w/end off to surprise me & well it was quite the w/end :)
