My most recent book, MO'S
HEART, is about a man who loves a woman, with all her
faults and her family problems. Loves her though he knows he'll never have her.
Loves her without trying to control or change her.
It's not that Mo feels he doesn't deserve her, but things going on in their
lives are keeping them apart. Like her cheating, almost ex-husband who wants her
back. Like one son who can't stand it that she refuses to take the cheater back.
Like the Mafia being after Mo...
The little things. Just like we have...
This is my twelfth published book, and it's one of my favorites. I know it's
because of the love Mo has for Rosa. It's so pure. No matter what happens, Mo
keeps loving her the way he keeps inhaling and exhaling. The way his heart keeps
beating. Because it's all about the heart, and Mo Vincent has a very big one.
The funny thing is that as I was writing the book, I became nicer to my husband.
Less picky about little things that don't really matter. Just happy to love him
and everyone around me. A reviewer recently said my books put the reader through
the same emotions that the characters feel. In that case, I hope MO'S HEART will
leave the reader feeling drenched in love.
