Summer Reading 2012

I am an avid reader. There is always at least one book with mw wherever I go- work, the bank (yes I read while waiting on line), the doctor's office etc. Right now I have 6 books on my request list at the library, 4 library books waiting to be read, 6 new ones on my nook waiting to be read and I just finished another. I have been known to read on amost anywhere while standing on a line waiting or sitting someplace waiting. A few years ago I was with a friend going to a movie on a Friday night. She had to stop at the bank first. Her business took a bit longer than expected and believe it or not I did not have a book with me. (The darkness in the movie theatre does not lend itself to reading.) While I was waiting I got restless and could not find anything to read so I read her car owner's manual. When she got back I complained that there was nothing to read in her car. She laughed and thought I was nuts. She was not a big reader. Fast forward a few years and this same friend was with me when I needed to stop to do something. Now she complained that if she had known how long it would take she would have brought a book!
