Adventure Novels by Janet Evanovich and Stephen J. Cannell

Warner Books announced it will publish a new series of hardcover adventure novels to be co-authored by bestselling novelists Janet Evanovich and Stephen J. Cannell. The novels will revolve around the exploits of Special Force Veteran Benjamin Cannon and will be based in the high-rolling world of Orange County. The first novel, NO CHANCE, is slated for publication in Fall 2007. The series will combine the action plots and unique storytelling talents seen in Stephen Cannell’s Shane Scully novels with the kind of quirky and colorful characters and storytelling that Janet Evanovich is famous for.

In making the announcement, Senior Vice President and Publisher Jamie Raab said, "The combined talents, creativity and sales power of Janet Evanovich and Stephen J. Cannell is guaranteed to result in a marvelous, bestselling new franchise. Warner Books is thrilled to be working with this dynamic duo."

"I'm very excited to be working with all the incredibly talented people at Warner Books, and to be partnering with my good friend Steve Cannell on this fantastic new project. Benjamin Cannon and crew are going to kick ass Jersey style in the world of OC glam," said Janet Evanovich.

Stephen J. Cannell said, "I have been a good friend and fan of Janet’s since I read her first Stephanie Plum novel. To be working with this great, creative talent is a dream come true. I am also delighted to be in business with Warner Books and with Jamie Raab on this series of novels."
