I just had my first sighting of the bluebonnets that spring up in my area of Texas. These beautiful flowers grow wild all around my area and signal the beginning of spring.

I'm hoping the April showers will come and bring us some May flowers. Due to the lack of rain the bluebonnets west of Houston are already disappearing. The temperature today has been very lovely at a sweet 68 degrees today.

I love bluebonnet season! Sadly though, they're a thin group this year due to lack
of rain:-/
