My First Valentine Memory

When my husband and I were first married, money was very short. He had just joined the Air Force. Several months before Valentines day, while shopping in the BX, he saw a beautiful silver bowl with a candy red interior. He placed that bowl on layaway and made payments every month. He gave me that bowl on Valentines Day. Now every February 14, I place it on the table as a reminder of all our years together. We have been married for 35 years.
