start
In the second novel of the Sweetest
Kisses series, classical pianist Vera Waltham is quiet,
cautious, and fiercely protective of her young daughter, but
she lets down her guard enough to strike up an unlikely
friendship with business law expert James Knightley. James's
past comes between them when Vera learns exactly how big a

danger, it's to James she turns...
One of my favorite authors (Charlotte Litton 12:20pm February 4, 2015)
Unfortunately, there are no books that come to mind for me, as far as families are concerned. My mind hasn't completely engaged yet this morning, due to lack of sleep. However, I understand completely where you're coming from when it comes to fraternal chemistry, having a couple of Sisters. When the 3 of us get together, I'm known as the prankster of the bunch, so if I don't get the group of us laughing by teasing them, or telling a joke, or saying something funny in general, something is wrong!! Even when the situation itself is tense, I've been known to whisper something to make them smile, to take whatever it is to a different level, for their benefit, as well as mine. I don't like to see them hurting in any way. That is is one of the reasons I'm looking forward to reading your latest book. Congratulations on what I'm sure is going to be another big hit!! Many of Grace Burrowes books have siblings both legitimate and illegitimate. Grace has a gift of revealing the characters through dialogue and feelings. When danger threatens, the families all band together to champion the cause. Grace knows how to do this because she has a large family. If you have not read her historical romances you have denied yourself a real treat. Her contemporaries are light and easy to read but do not underestimate this. Grace's characters will stay with you long after the book has been read. Her writing is addictive and her books always go to the to-be-read-again pile. You will not be disappointed in anything that she writes. I anxiously await MacKenzie Knightly's story, the oldest and last in unmarried Knightly brother in rural Maryland.
