Summer Book List

I'm currently reading Proximity by Stephen Phillips - a novel of the Navy's Elite Bomb Squad. The families that are affected by long times at sea, the regrets, the joys. So far, it's a decent book.

Another book was Graham's Grief by Brian Clopper - Graham is a stone gargoyle (a young one, too) who is closest to his grandfather, who will be making his last trip through a portal into the human world to grace a church's rooftop. Graham doesn't want to leave his grandfather to this fate and does everything in his power to prevent the inevitable, but he has nothing to do as this is the natural way of the gargoyles and his grandfather turns to stone and Graham must now get back through the portal to carry on his life. Cute story.

Next in line of books I've read was Olivetti: Illumination by Tamilore Odimayo - a book that combines various Mob families with the Italian Illuminati! Oh yes, quite the storyline! It all made sense towards the end but overall, a very good read for anyone who is interested in the Illuminati and the mob.
