Exciting Spring

This is going to be a very interesting and exciting Spring for me. My Husband and I moved out to the country, and every day seems to bring an adventure. Last Fall, we noticed a Praying Mantis sitting outside of our front door, near a banner that we had pinned to the house. She happened to sneak behind the banner, and lay her egg sac there. We found a 2nd one in my lavender bush by the back steps. So when it gets a little warmer, we are going to see a lot of Praying Mantis babies crawling on our house!! From what I've read, each sac can hold up to 100 eggs!! I have no idea how big they are going to be, but I find them fascinating, and can't wait to see the little creatures!! Anything I've spotted since moving up here I've marveled at, from a catepillar to a bird. We may have lost our house, but starting over where I'm at was God's plan to open my eyes and refresh my soul. Spring couldn't be a better time!!
