him, I didn't have a chance. I did ask him to my junior prom
& he accepted. Wow! What a shock.

Not really a charity. I like to volunteer my time at a local
nursing home. Helping out with games & parties for them to
enjoy, and see a smiling face; for some never see any of their
family once they are put there.

We had moved to the country and hadn't had a chance to meet our new neighbors. I really looked by best, with my straw hat, paint brush & pail, painting the fence post around the property; when here came our slim curvey pressy neighbor. Needless to say, I could have died right on the spot.

My husband & I took care of my mother for 6yrs, she was in a nursing home also & we went to see her every week & took supplies to her. I am thankful that my husband & family supported me through all this & at the time of her death this year. We try to help out all our family when they need us.

I dread going thru all my Mother's things, pictures, clothes, & etc. since she passed this Sept. 1st. It was hard picking out her clothes to be buried in & making all the arrangements. Your never forget you Mom. So, I curl up with your books & try to move on.
